Comment posted David Letterman Upset that John McCain Cancelled Appearance by Jeff.

Bush had intelligence about that in July of that year, but chose to do nothing and go on vacation. There was a reason that George Tennet would fly on a commercail aircraft after that July.

  • It’s also funny that Reagan’s children spoke at the DNC in 04′ Look where they stand now.

    ***HG says***

What’s wrong with Reagan’s children being free to think, do, and believe what they want? It’s not like they had to all turn out like their father, who was a great leader.

  • Its just crazy how good the economy was when Clinton left office and we had a democratic ongress then too. Im sure its still there fault though.

    ***HG says***

Clinton inherited all the businesses built with the Reagan tax breaks, like Costco. Reagan fixed the wrecked economy from Jimmy Carter, and Clinton looked like a great President because the ripple effect of Reagan economics were still expanding the economy at that time. Unfortunately during Clinton’s term there was a technology crash that brought down the NASDAQ. It was called the dot com bubble bursting, but it was really just scams and crooks stealing money, like the financial institutions today.

The only problem I have is with the politicians, Republican and Democrat, who were overseeing the financial corruption and did nothing about it, and didn’t warn the public, or even call in the Department of Justice to investigate.

  • If McCain / Bush would have worried about this the last 8 years, we wouldnt be in this mess.

    ***HG says***

Bush shares the blame with the Democratic congress. The most to blame, in my opinion, are the Democrats overseeing Freddie Mac. They knew and said nothing. Corruption on Wall Street hit in 1929, and in 2008. History is repeating itself. At least once this mess is over, we’ll have decades of good times to look forward to again. We have it a lot better than back in 1929 though.

McCain couldnt lead a horse to water. He votes the same way G.W.B. does and you see where that has gotten us. I’ll be glad when the election is over and in Jan when Obama is President. McCain is just sinking himself right now. You see it in the polls. All of the Republicans are worried because they know they will lose this election, as they deserve to. Bush’s economic policies are trash. The only policy he has is to put more money on the pockets of the oil companies.

    ***HG says***

Bush tried to reform the mortgage companies policies Bill Clinton enacted, but democrats blocked that effort even during the 2004 meltdown, and so now we have an even bigger meltdown. This has nothing to do with Bush, and everything to do with democrats getting kickbacks.

You had to throw talk about oil companies in there just to show you know the democrat talking points, but oil has nothing to do with mortgages and equities in the financial meltdown.

Whats great about all of this is it’s really hurting McCain in the polls. Which is what this country really needs. Obama will lead us out of this crisis and back to the financial stability we had when Clinton ran this country.

    ***HG says***

Obama has never been the leader of anything, because he has no executive experience. Even his wife is head of the household. With Obama’s plan to increase taxes, after giving a tax rebate, the country’s financial stability will turn into a financial meltdown, and a deepening depression like happened when Jimmy Carter was President. Ronald Reagan saved us from certain economic disaster, and Clinton had money to burn as a result of Reagan’s policies.

LoL, HG is starting to get reeeeal pathetic with his McCain/Palin worship. Look mate, no matter how much you try to polish it up, a turd is still a turd.

    ***HG says***

You shouldn’t talk about Obama that way.

  2. Rick says:

Letterman upset? Because McCain put going back to DC over “comedy?”

Well, how about this: McCain went on to have an interview with Katie Couric that same evening and then did not leave NY until Thursday morn.

You are a twit to think that McCain’s actions this week are anything but distracting stunts!

    ***HG says***

McCain’s motto is “Country First,” so he put his Presidential campaign second. On his list of time constrained interviews Katie got the last one it appears. Dave will have to do like Oprah, and interview McCain and Palin after the election is over.

It was a joke. I doubt he’s really pissed. Come on, is this news?

Seams 5 of the 9 post, so far, on this are from DEMOCRATS. I don’t know what you see, but that seams fair to me. But, please go look for your boobs somewhere else, I get to see the best set every night and am very happy with them. She doesn’t read this sight so I”m not saying that for her. THIS sight is about NEWS and I think it is one of the best sights on the net.

I think David Letterman was more pissed he cancelled but showed up to do an interview with katie couric…

Plus McCain can’t do anything anyway.

  7. Gary says:

Brian, guess you are free to look anywhere you want. Might try searching for that content.
I really think you are confusing ignorance with healthy debate and I think since this is HG’s sight they are free to express any view they wish and we are free to go elsewhere if we do not agree or accept to disagree.
