David Letterman Breaks His Nose (Twice)
David Letterman has learned how painful parenthood can be. The Late Show host accidentally broke his nose while horsing around with his three-year-old son a few weeks ago, and apparently the healing process didn’t go so well.
Letterman was in so much pain Monday that he had Tony Danza backstage as his understudy in case he couldn’t do the show. Luckily, ol’ Dave sucked it up and got through the show, even taking the time to blow his bloody nose into a tissue and show the studio audience that he was truly in pain. Yuck!
Letterman left immediately after the taping to visit his doctor, who had to re-break Dave’s nose to set it right. How’s that for a bad day?
