David Beckham Plays for the People
On Sunday David Beckham, and his team L.A. Galaxy, defeated Hollywood United 12 to 4. Over 5,500 fans turned out for the event which raised $100,000 for Southern California wildfire victims. Beckham said:
"It’s great to play in a game that raises money for people who need it. It’s special."
Beckham is a man of the people, and for the people.

As everyone knows, David Beckham is an amazing soccer player and a VERY good looking person. Not only is he such a good soccer player, but also he is a good-hearted person. It’s great to see him putting his talents to a good cause. Raising 100,000 dollars for the Southern California Wildfire victims shows that he does care for the people. Yes, he is a beyond wealthy man (having the highest salary of any mls player in history), but he doesn’t let it go to his head because he is caring about helping other people and not just his own success. Beckham actually also posted a blog on “The Official David Beckham Website” about this game, trying to get people to come out to it. This shows he really does care about raising money for this cause. What a great guy!
