ahhhh i wish david archuleta won! he stole my heart away each and every time he sang! my favorite was in this moment. I believe it that he had vocal paralysis…seriously….why would he lie about that? i dont understand why anyone would…anyway archuleta is and ALWAYS will be my idol…i admire him and every thing he does…<3 =]

noone can move on when you go to sleep listening to archuleta mwahaha! well i guess someone who loses a contest would really inspire everyone to move on, but not with his singing though…

A great artist inspire even the most common person to have hope and continue to move on. Archuleta embodied that in his singing. Cook is technically and vocally mature and people vote for that. Archuleta is unforgettable. People vote in either 2 ways – thru their hearts or their mind.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Archuleta will go home…never to be heard from again…kinda like Sangria or whatever his name was from last season. My guess is that in the end, William Hung will sell more records than Archuleta.

Ugh! All season the judges have been complaining about the singers playing it safe. What is safer than singing a song you have already sang successfully a couple weeks earlier and have sang everywhere you are allowed to sing? At least Cook thought enough of the audience to learn a new song. Archuletta should lose for lack of effort.

Baby Archie is special; As special as Tiger Woods. David Cook sang rock songs that I didn’t get into much. So it shows, to me, that you can’t really have one winner because I’d choose Baby Archie simply because he tugs sentimental strings whereas Cook doesn’t but I’m sure that just as mnay folks would like him for the same reason.

Hope you are ready to eat your words, because all indications say David Cook is the clear cut winner, running away with it.

Archuletta is a one trick pony who has not progressed one iota since week one. His song choices and performances are trite, his personality is almost non-existant, and his stage presence is that of an overexcited terrier.

Cook can play the guitar, engage the audience between songs, arrange songs uniquely so as to make them his own…Archuletta can mimic more popular and experienced singers in what is commonly known, stylistically, as karaoke.

erm no…
i havent seen cook’s performance still. but this didn’t give me goosebumps…
i’ve gotten used to his singing and just expected nothing better than any of his past performances…
