David Archuleta Fake American Idol
David Archuleta had a sob story about a paralyzed vocal cord, and he flew through the American Idol audition with flying colors, but some of his story might just be fake. Reports say David has been a pro for years. TMZ tracked down one of his earlier performances from the"Jenny Jones" show. He performed an incredible version of "And I Am Telling You …" Was it better than Jennifer Hudson, you be the judge.
"Jones" wasn’t his only pre-"Idol" TV appearance and he may have even had a record deal. FOX says that contestants cannot currently have a management or recording contract.
On a side note, Paul Adbul looked like she was on drugs or alcohol again. Get some help Paula, I’m embarrassed watching you make a fool of yourself.

Most of the finalists have had some sort of professional experience in the past, so why single out just David Archuleta? He has an amazing voice and it should take him as far as possible; if that includes winning then he deserves to win.
You should realize David Cook and others have amazing talent as well – It’s not only Archuleta.
why are people picking on him he is just 17 years old?:(
I miss the Jenny Jones show!
Sorry. The post should have read “HAS HAD a recording contract.”
I don’y know anything about the paralyzed vocal chords story, but there are quite a few contestants this year who have had a lot of experience. Carly Hennesey has a recording contract with RCA and even put out an album with them, which didn’t do well at all. Kristi Lee Cook has had professional experience, and was linked to Britney Spears in some way. David Cook won Star Search. But I deon’t think any of this matters. None of them have a current contract, and none of them have current professional management. Some of them have already been discovered, but those that were failed the first time.
The kid is not only incredibly talented — he’s completely likeable. I don’t think many will believe that his bad luck with the vocal chords was anything but the truth. And the fact that he’s had some success as a young artist shouldn’t preclude him from the Idol contest.
i dont think it matters if a boy was singing and even winning competition when he was a child. his voice is obviously totally different now. and paula isnt on drugs, they just sometimes edit her like she might be, to increase the ratings.
