Danny Gans Died

Danny Gans (52) died at home early this morning. Reports say Danny’s wife called 911 at 3:44 am after she discovered he was having trouble breathing. When paramedics arrived Danny was dead.

Danny was in good shape, and was a very good athlete, but he could still have had bad blood chemistry. It’s possible Danny could have had a sudden event such as a heart attack, or a pulmonary embolism, that could have led to his death. An autopsy will be done due to the nature of Danny’s death, to determine a cause of death, and to rule out foul play.

In 2000 Danny signed a $150 million contract, and was named Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year a record 11 times in a row.

The Mirage, where Gans performed for years, released the following statement:

"All of us in The Mirage family are deeply saddened to learn of Danny’s passing. We all knew of his devotion to his family and our hearts and prayers are with his wife and children."

Danny will be missed.
