Danny DeVito Explains His Drunkeness to Letterman
David Letterman asked Danny DeVito about being drunk last week, and that’s when DeVito proved what a good actor and liar he can be.
Taking responsibility is like catching a cold in Hollywood. Someone catches responsibility for a few days, or maybe even a few weeks, then it goes away, but no one around them wants to catch it, so they only call to see if you’re back to normal.

I really do not think he was drunk in the interview. He was in character and some of it was taken out of context.
