Damon Wayans Walks Off Stage in El Paso, Texas

Damon Wayans walked out five minutes before his sold-out performance Friday at Bart Reed’s Comic Strip leaving the owner and Wayans fans confused.
Reed said the comic was upset when, 5 minutes before his second show, two female friends were not immediately allowed into the club. Local comic Jorge Jimenez took the stage instead.
The sold-out shows on Saturday and Sunday were canceled. Wayans did perform two out of four shows on Thursday.
People who bought tickets online should have all charges reversed. Anyone who has not yet received a refund should go to the club during normal box office hours.

Damon is a jerk. I was at the show that night. He’s very unprofessional. I hope that he ends up going broke. He does not care about his fans. He’s a poor actor anyhow, and he probably saved us from seeing a cra**y show anyhow.
