Colin Powell on John McCain Vice President List

Colin Powell is rumored to be on the short list for a John McCain vice presidential running mate. If McCain were elected president, Powell would become the first black vice president. Powell would make a great Vice President.

False rumors started circulating this week that Powell was going to endorse Barack Obama, and would attend the democratic convention. Powell strongly denied those rumors saying:

"I do not have time to waste on Bill Kristol’s musings. I am not going to the convention. I have made this clear."

The democrats would love to have Obama on their side, however, Powell served in the Bush Republican presidential cabinet as Secretary of State. Powell has proven himself to be credible, and honest.
