clay_im Clay Aiken Responds to Airplane Scuffle Report

“While sleeping on a plane over the weekend, my foot evidently found a home on the arm rest of the passenger seated directly in front of me. I didn’t realize I was causing the woman any distress until she woke me up with a quick hit to the chest. Unfortunately, being that this happened on a plane, the FBI was called in to investigate and eventually we were all sent on our way. I’d like to thank everyone for their concern; I am fine and have taken steps to prevent any foot wandering in the future.”

    Clay,
I am on an airplane every month, more than anyone I know.
I don’t know what class you were flying-but you acted with no class.
You owe the person whose personal space that you violated an apology.
A person should never behave in such a way.– Not on a street, a restaurant and especially on the enclosed area of an airplane.
You led us to believe you are such a Gentleman–Please lead us back . Dottie

Give him a break. He fell asleep on an airplane and his foot touched someone’s armrest. He wasn’t doing it on purpose.

The truth is simply, the lady paid for her ticket which includes an armrest, Clay paid for his ticket, which also included an armrest. Please quit making excuses for Clay’s rudeness, he is a grown man and does not need all of you ladies trying to take care of him. His feet were actually on her armrest, which was very rude. He needs to quit acting like a diva, he should have never engaged in a verbal argument with her, I’m sure a simple apology would have settled this dispute. Don’t care how important you think you may be, simple travel courtesies would have prevented this problem.
