Clay Aiken Baby is Born to Jaymes Foster

Clay Aiken (29) and Jaymes Foster (50) welcome their artificially inseminated baby boy into the world this morning at 8:08 am 8-8-2008. Clay wrote on his web site:
"HE’S HERE! My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)"
"Wow … 8:08 … 08/08/08. The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also."
Parker, whose name is his grandmother Faye’s middle name, weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz. and was 19 inches long.
Aiken’s mother, Faye, first broke the news by telling Lynda Loveland of Raleigh, N.C., TV station WRAL about the birth. According to Faye, Foster gave birth at a North Carolina hospital.
Clay’s mom also said that baby Parker has "dark hair" and that Clay is "smiling from ear-to-ear" about the news.
Numerology expert Daniel Hardt says:
"Eight is a very powerful number. It’s a number of mastery. It’s a number of being in control. That’s why a lot of people are drawn to it."
Eight is also a lucky number in Chinese culture, which is why the Opening Ceremonies for the Summer Olympics are scheduled for 8/08/08. The number eight means mastery, and the hope is that will translate into money.
This baby certainly was born on a lucky day, and a lucky time. This could mean that Clay could cut a deal to sell baby pictures to a tabloid.
Although Clay and Jaymes do not have a romantic relationship, the pair plan to raise the baby together.

This is so strange, I know that I am a very open-minded person, but this hook-up does not make any sense. Clay says they will both raise him, how is this possible unless they live together as a family. I cannot imagine why Clay was not able to have a normal relationship with a woman, and have children the normal way. I truly believe that Clay is indeed gay. I have no problem with this, what I have a problem with, is his constant denial, when in fact most of the people I know believe he is gay. This child is going to have a lot of baggage to deal with, the least being that his parents are 29 and 50, and not in a romantic relationship. This baby is going to be forever gossiped about, because of the deeds of his parents.

Why does Clay have to be so secretive as if he is the only guy in the world to have a life?
Why can’t he just say “Yes we are a couple in love” or “yes I am gay” or whatever the truth is.
He doesn’t have to give his life story, but enough of the being so secretive that he can’t make it known that he is doing what is pretty common which is having a baby with his wife or lover or whatever Jaymes is to him.
