That might just be the most rascist, uninformed …

That might just be the most rascist, uninformed comment I’ve ever read. Salt, you should be deeply ashamed.

Just the opposite. You’re statement itself is racist. Everyone who isn’t black has every right to ask those questions. Are you trying to silence my right to free speech?
Affirmative action makes it legal to discriminate against whites. That abuse is no different than the abuses that were legal during the days of slavery.

Oh no! He disagrees with your pandering partisan nonsense! He must be an uninformed liberal. Or perhaps he’s sick of your thin arguments coated with a thick layer of contempt. Because Freddie and Fannie are evidently the only reason for our current financial meltdown. That makes sense. Not like anyone else handed out mortgages to under-capitalized people with poor credit. Only Freddie and Fannie. Yeah. - Sarah Palin Plays the Flute in Miss Alaska Competition
There are absolutely no words I can find to express how you posting makes me feel. Flabbergasted in New York. - Sarah Palin Interview Number 2 with Katie Couric
Oh well, I guess this will be my last post. HG’s obvious inability to distinguish between a coherent argument and inane insults has made this boring. I do have to say you are easy to provoke HG. Pity the best your sad grasping can muster is nothing more than insults. But I look forward to another ridiculous post comparing Obama voters to criminals, or calling the Democratic ticket Osama bin Biden. Perhaps next time you will actually respond to the your reader’s comments with something rational, eh? If you do so, you might regain some of those lost website visitors. - Sarah Palin Interview Number 2 with Katie Couric
I completely agree with your post applebottom genes. I will certainly never convince HG of any of my points. He doesn’t listen to a single thing I say. He insults me when I make rational points, so I point out how off the wall that really is. It serves no purpose other than to amuse me. And maybe, maybe some day, HG might just listen to someone other than the republican media/political machine. If that happens, it will have been well worth it. Still, I’m not holding my breath.***HG says***
I’ve been listening to everything you’ve been saying, and I’m surprised how desperate you are to force others to see things your way, when you aren’t willing to accept other people’s point of view. Still, I know you need to get it all out, and I’m here to listen, and encourage you to get it out until you feel better. Thanks for reading HG. It good to have readers who voice their opinions. That’s what makes America a great place to live.

Show me a hateful comment towards Republicans. Or does criticism of Republicans equal hate? If so, there is no real need to post examples. I doubt you’ll even find the slightest hateful comment. You just can’t take it when I make fun of your hilariously partisan vitriol. Thats not hate, thats pointing out hypocrisy.
I honestly don’t hate you, in fact I pity you. I used to hate liberals just because they were liberal. Then I grew up and started to look at things from other people’s point of view. Its called adulthood. Try it once in a while.
And for the record, I voted for Bush both times. I vote for whomever appears to the be the best candidate at the time. You can’t even entertain the possibility that a liberal could be an effective president. You would be spouting the same inane truly hate-filled commentary regardless of whom was the Democratic candidate. But by all means, keep ignoring my points. You are still worth a few laughs.***HG says***
Are you tired of arguing with yourself yet?

I watch Larry King almost every night. The night he had Chris Rock on I was very disappointed and offended by his question regarding if Obama were elected would he change the menu? Would he have asked a white comedian if John McCain would change the menu? I doubt it. Sometimes Larry speaks before he thinks and then after asking very insensitive questions, he realizes how stupid it was to ask it in the first place. I thought that was very deameaning and now I am not such a regular fan.
I love white women. Ask my girlfriend. Its just a statement of fact. In my previous post, I stated that all women were beneficiaries of affirmative action. White women just are more numerous and have made the most gains. I’m glad you acknowledged that the good old boy system always has and always will exist, but you failed to comment on the injustice inherent in that system or the fact that over the years far more people have gotten into positions for who the knew as opposed to what they knew. By the way, the NAACP and Congressional Black Caucus were founded during a time when the majority party or race would not speak to the issues facing the ethnic communities. Whether or not they are still relevant is a debate that is going on within the black community. As far as affirmative action giving jobs or opportunities to less qualified applicants, I find it ironic that you don’t pick up on the inherent racism within that assertion. By stating that less qualified applicants are taking jobs from more qualified white applicants you assume that a applicant is more qualified based on his race (white). How about all the times minority individuals were denied jobs or opportunities because people in power wanted to fill the spots with less qualified friends or to return favors?

My comment only referred to people who are or who are not qualified. You interpreted that to somehow mean white, which amounts to putting words in my mouth. I said Americans are Americans. The government has made legal a form of reverse discrimination with affirmative action, which falls under the two wrongs don’t make a right category. Affirmative action is an old boy system all in itself, as it excludes certain members of our society in favor of other members of our society. If you agree that the good old boy system is wrong, then you in principal also agree that Affirmative action is just as wrong. Discrimination is wrong, especially when the government is forcing it upon us.
Wow your ignorance baffles me!
Something you might want to look up before posting:
Who is the number one beneficiary of affirmative action programs? WHITE WOMEN. They are protected minorities under the umbrella of affirmative action. So your sister, mother, girlfriend, wife, and/or daughter benefit from affirmative action regardless of ethnic origin.
Something else to consider. Affirmative action combats preferences propagated by the oldest affirmative action program in history: the good old boy system. The good old boy system got GW Bush into Yale even though he didn’t have the grades; it got Sarah Palin the VP nomination even though there were more qualified female Republicans; and it was pervasive in the Bush administration as he often promoted those who were loyal more so than those who were qualified.
***HG says***
Your comment makes me even more comfortable that my understanding of affirmative action is correct, and your representation is laced with bias and hatred for Republicans, and WHITE WOMEN, rather than facts. The good old boy system will always exist. It is human nature. Just as it is human nature for groups to segregate themselves like the NAACP, and the black congressional caucus. Affirmative action denies those who are best qualified from getting the job, while allowing a lesser qualified person to get the job, which affects the quality of their work and productivity in a negative way, so the employer gets less for their investment.
Affirmative action was meant to force businesses to give those less qualified a chance. Today however, that law is no longer necessary since America sees everyone as Americans, and can judge for themselves who is best qualified. This is a different generation that doesn’t need those ideals forced on them.
Thank you for offering an opposing point of view. I hope in the future you’ll refrain from using labels like ignorant. We all have different opinions, sometimes strong, but we’re all still Americans with the right to speak freely.

Do you know of ANY black people that DON’T support Osama???
Discrimination is dicrimination regardless!!!
I hope AA is gone anyway just like Roe V Wade!!
The only good thing IF he wins–is that I hope the the black culture will finally get off their butts and realize that being president can be done by a black person and quit living off of me — taxpayer!
