Cheri Oteri Father Murdered

The father of former SNL star, Cheri Oteri, was murdered Saturday in Nashville, Tennessee. Richard Fagan (61) was arrested for stabbing Gaetano Thomas Oteri (69) to death in his home. The two men were roommates. Saturday night police arrested Fagan for DUI after he was found with his bail bondsman. Earlier that night Fagan and Oteri had fought, and Fagan used his Colt pocket knife to cut Oteri across his body ending with his wrist. The laceration caused Oteri to bleed to death. Oteri’s body was found on Sunday afternoon by a friend. Fagan has subsequently been charged with criminal homicide.

Cheri Oteri said she is aware of her father’s death.
