jamie lynn is a good actress ,i ama huge fan of zoey 101s,when it comes to teenagers ts perfectly fine for to people to get intimate and sometimes a baby pops out.u see 15 year olds or grade 8s with babys.thats perfectly normal.but if he is older that is considered rape and he could get charged for that but ,its the same with famous people they’ll have sex and sometimes the girl will get pregnant .its life no one can do anything about it.sometimes theyll regret it sometimes they wont.i hope and i could probably speak for alot of people no one wants jamie lynn to end up like her older sister.good luck jamie & casey.

RESPONSE TO COMMENT BY PAM. JB ( just like everyone else ) has the right to speak. The mere fact the JB was a father at 17 gives him more true to life knowledge on the topic than most people posting. Even if JB’s experience is harsher than others, it’s still a real life experience and possibility for anyone who has a child at this age or any age where they didn’t plan and prepare for bearing a child. So Pam, your feelings are valid, but don’t knock someone else’s views. If anything, JB’s feelings are supported by experience which I’m sure carry a heavier weight than your feelings possibly only supported by assumption.

Bringing up a kid when your a kid your self is going to be super hard, and it does not matter if you have loads of money or not.. I have kids and my oldest is 16, and i would be so heart broken if she were to become pregnant at this time..
If Jamie really thinks Casey will still be there in 1, 5, or 20 years from now. I really hope so for the baby’s sake.
Adults should be responsible for themselves and their actions. If your 18 or older your responsible for statutory rape if you commit it. Aldridge made a very bad judgment just to have a little fun. Jamie has parents that are responsible for her and should be teaching her everything they can about what is right and wrong. Jamie has a mind of her own and she made a bad decision, she’s still a child though. I don’t feel any sympathy for a person that can do such immoral actions.

I FOR ONE CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY THINK THAT IT IS OK TO BE PREGNANT AT 16. I MYSELF BECAME A FATHER AT 17. THAT WAS 20 YEARS AGO. TIMES WERE MUCH DIFFERENT THAN TODAYS STANDARDS.MY PARENTS WERE NOT AT ALL HAPPY AND BECAUSE MY FATHER WAS DISSABLED OUR OWN INCOME WAS SMALL. NOT ENOUGH FOR ANOTHER CHILD. I PAID 18 YEARS OF CHILD SUPPORT. DO THAT AT WHEN MINIMIUM WAGE WAS $3.45 AN HOUR.I WOULD NOT WISH THE COURT COSTS, BLOOD TEST FEES ON ANYONE. LET A LONE THE PERSONAL DAMAGE AND NOT EVER KNOWING THE CHILD. IN MY CASE THE MOTHER DID NOT WANT ME AROUND ONLY MONEY. IT HAPPENS TO OFTEN AND RUINS ALOT OF PEOPLES LIVES FOR MAKING POOR DECISIONS.YOUR CREDIT SCORE FOR LATE PAYMENTS ,TAX INTERCEPTS ETC. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND JUST BECAUSE YOUR BODY IS ABLE TO PRODUCE A CHILD DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE READY FOR ONE.

I am amazed at how people can rationalize anything. Being 16 and getting pregnant is not good, no matter who you are and who your parents are. It is irresponsible to have not taken necessary precautions. With her family history, you’d think that Jamie would have learned by her sister’s poor mothering abilities to be as safe as possible. That does not mean be abstinant, but for crying out loud how can you rationalize not using a $1 condom? In response to the Teacher Aleesha… its a shame that someone responsible for educating our children can be so naive to say its common so its ok to get pregnant in Junior High and then lash out at Conservatives because they disagree with your perspective. I would hope most people teaching our young today are more open minded to opposing ideas.
This makes me so SICK!!! Can someone please realize that she is a HUMAN BEING! Wow…Teens get pregnant everyday and live normal lives just fine..The media acts like they never heard of a 16 year old bringing a life into the world…I wish people would get a life and just wish her and this gift from God good luck!

I think alot of people are over reacting to a situation that doesnt even involve them. She choose to do what she did and is doing what she feels right for her. No one has a right to judge her or anyone else in her shoes, for one, none of us know her. I know several under 18 single mothers who all raise their kids with love and do better then alot of older moms out there. As for this being a bad influence on young girls, I dont believe that, I think it has to do with how you personally raise your child and how well you communicate with your child. Reality is things like this happen and will continue to happen, instead of focusing on the negativity lets try and do more educating and showing the daily life and struggles of a single teenager mother and father. My grandmother told me at a very young age, its ok to make mistakes, thats how we grow and become who we are, and not to let how other judge me for those mistakes to hurt/bother me, that some time in everyones life a mistake is made. So lets all think about that before we judge the spears or anyone.
wow, by everyones opinions in this room, i take it that everyone is a virgin…good for you. i mean how can you judge someone when this type of situation can happen to anyone, fameous or not. at least she is stepping up to the plate and taking care of her responsibilities. i teach at a jr high and have students as young as 12 who are pregnant/soon to be fathers, and of course this is not the perfect situation by any means, but what do you expect in a right winged country that requires teachers to only teach abstonance and parents who think that their kids aren’t having sex. so no one can make negative comments that chose to have sex before they were personally ready to have children, or your in the same boat.
people are ridiculous. the only reason people is saying she’s stupid is because she got pregnant and didn’t have a abortion. unlike some people, she didn’t take the easy way out and get an abortion like most people. that takes more strength than one would think. aside from that who are any of you to judge her? she’s human and makes mistakes just like everyone else. it’s not your business what she does behind closed doors anyway. parents need to shut up about her being a poor role model. you should want your daughters to look up you and not someone on tv. that’s a cop out. people are always looking for a someone or something to blame for their children’s mishaps. give me a break. parents need to step up and be parents and stop blaming the media for their screw-ups.
