Jamie Lynn should be removed from nickelodeon immediately. As a role model for children this is definetely not a good example for them to follow. She should of thought of the consequences of kids raising kids or in this case we all know its NANNY to the rescue. Just like Britney Spears!!!
Everyone needs to suspend their disbelief. It’s not like she isn’t like hundreds of other teens out there. She made an error in judgement, but at least she’s stepping up and doing what is right for her. To everyone saying she should have an abortion, lighten up. She’s from Kentwood, La. and a southern girl at heart. Same goes for Brittney. They aren’t doing anything that they wouldn’t be doing if they weren’t famous. They’re just being themselves. You know, human…humans make mistakes. So for all you “holier than thou” folks, just wish her and her chold well and put yourself in her place. Or can’t you because you’re jealous that her life at sixteen is better than your life will ever be.
Just another case of teenage pregnancy. I hope the Spears family will take they’re heads out of you know what and acknowledge that the girls they raised are nothing but pieces of trash. These girls are apparently supposed to be role models. Young ladies, little girls, look up and want to be Britney or Jamie Lynn Spears. I strongl urge parents to monitor what and who they’re little girls watch. Especially little promiscuous girls like the two that I’ve mentioned.
I don’t think she is dumb, but I do think she was dumb to not have an abortion. And the parents lying through their teeth saying it will be great once the child is here. How diluted are these people.

That was a stupid thing of her to do as if her family had enough disgrace with brittany she had to knock them down the trash pole. America this is the REAL WORLD! Jamie is not the first or the last teen that will get pregnant. I don’t think she’s trash at all. How many teens out there are having sex and not getting pregnant? MANY!!! So are they trash too? Watch it people ’cause your kids could be having sex like Trashy Jamie and you wouldn’t know it!
As for explaining this to your kids who idolize her, just tell them the truth! This would be a great lesson for them and a good “sex talk” starter… You gotta do it some day.
Susan, I understand your frustration, but unfortunately there are young women put in this sitaution throughout America every day. Why? Because of the poor decisions we make as humans. The constant need to frown upon the situation does not make it any better, “Zoey 101″ will probably be cancelled because Nickelodeon will not want to showcase Ms. Spears in a pregnant state at such a young age. It may be a strange concept, but how about telling your daughter the truth? I believe it’s illegitimate to believe that younger people won’t “understand” adult concepts. Sometimes, more than often, they take it for what it’s worth and learn from it. There’s no point in hiding what the truth is.
And this entire article just goes to show the scheming and tragic captivation of celebrity worship. Sad, sad.
