Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa Arrested

Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa (57) was arrested last night, and charged misdemeanor domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend at his Diamond Head home in Hawaii. His girlfriend told officers she was struck by the actor, but she refused treatment. Police said she had bruises on her legs. Tagawa was released today at 12:45 a.m. after posting $1,000 bail. He has an appearance scheduled Nov. 29 at District Court.
Tagawa has appeared most recently on NBC’s hit "Heroes" and "Balls of Fury." His long list of movies includes "Memoirs of a Geisha," "Pearl Harbor" and "Planet of the Apes." He was also in "Mortal Kombat" as the soul sucker Shang Tsung back in 1995.
It’s really sad when relationships fall apart, and even sadder when violence takes the place of romance. These two need help.
