There is more bad news for Britney Spears. TMZ says:

Britney Spears is on the offensive in her ongoing battle with Fed-Ex. We’re told the popwreck wants to prove she’s not the only one who screws up.

Sources tell TMZ Brit has hired a P.I. company to dig up dirt on her ex. One source says, during their marriage, Spears witnessed K-Fed smoking dope and drinking beer around the kids. Brit’s camp hopes they can get the goods and turn the tables in the custody battle.

Us Magazine says:

Britney’s paternal grandmother committed suicide in 1966.

Depression and mental instability run in the Spears family!

The circumstances regarding the grandma’s suicide are quite tragic.

Spears’ grandmother gave birth to a boy who died three days after delivery. The loss of the infant took a toll on the poor Southern lady. Eight years later, she committed suicide… ON the dead child’s grave.

TMZ says:

We’re told Britney will celebrate Thanksgiving with the kids on Wednesday, and K-Fed will repeat the honors on Thursday. Brit will visit with the kids earlier on Thanksgiving day.

The deal was hashed out by Mark Vincent Kaplan, K-Fed’s lawyer, and Brit’s legal hottie, Anne Kiley. We’re told they’re in the process of negotiating Xmas.

Louis Vuitton says:

Louis Vuitton was awarded 80,000 Euros in damages for the unauthorized use of some tacky ass LV fabric in a Britney Spears video. The video for "Do Somethin’" which was released in 2005 shows Brit driving some pink hummer with pink LV fabric in the interior.

The tribunal found the director of the video had clearly emphasized the Louis Vuitton brand.

The video has also been banned. Sony, BMG and MTV Online were all named in the lawsuit. Britney was not.

Life & Style says:

Britney is facing another lawsuit for allegedly trashing a condo in Marina Del Rey. The owner said that his $1.5 million joint is destroyed, because Brit and her brother tore that place up.

He said, "The whole family would come in and out of the place, but Bryan (Britney’s brother) was the most constant. There’s damage to the walls, flooring, balcony, doors, electrical outlets and air conditioning. They destroyed it.”

With all the bad things that are reported, and true, about Britney, she is not going to succeed in wrestling custody away from Kevin. Whoever gets custody of the kids first in a divorce usually retains custody after the divorce trial. It is obvious Britney is going through a period in her life where she is starting to understand adult responsibility. The bad part is the divorce will end in a trial, and she will be permanently labeled a bad mom, and a bad person by the court, which is unfair to all people who go through a divorce. The only thing trials should decide concretely are distribution of assets and debts. Custody and visitation should always remain flexible. The door should always be open to both parents.
