Britney Spears Has Not Left the Country

Contrary to untrue rumors that Britney Spears has left the country for a Belgium rehab, she’s actually still in Los Angeles. OK! Magazine says:

…according to eyewitnesses, the beleaguered singer drove around the Beverly Hills area for hours with her children in the backseat of her Mercedes.

Britney, along with her boys, exited her gated community this afternoon and drove for two hours without stopping, eventually returning home at 6:30 pm.

She drove 20 miles north up the 101 freeway in rush hour traffic toward the community of Calabasas. “The kids were in the back of the car and Britney just seemed to be driving aimlessly,” says an eyewitness tells OK! “She was going up and down random streets in different neighborhoods.”

The only reason to really care about Britney anymore is whether she’s gone one step past crazy again, and violated the custody agreement, and committed a crime, by taking the kids out of the country. I’d love to see pictures of Britney and her two munchkins parachuting into a foreign country at dawn to try to avoid detection by paparazzi. Not to worry though, Sean and Jayden are still with that crazy lady with the orange hair. The only part of this story that is completely blown out of proportion is the driving 20 MPH on the 101 freeway during rush hour. 20 MPH!? During rush hour you’d be lucky to even see the needle jump past zero during rush hour driving on the 101.

There are a lot of good reasons Britney could be driving around aimlessly for 2 hours:

1) just washed car, wants to "air dry it."

2) just washed hair, wants to "air dry it."

3) kids wearing soiled diapers, she wants to "blow the stink offa them."

4) looking for LiLo and/or Paris

5) cruising to East L.A. in search of a "weekend nanny" for the kids
