Britney Spears

On Thursday Britney Spears was scheduled to hold a press conference
regarding some BIG news, but instead she failed to show and left everyone
with a big downer instead.

Chances are Britney was going to announce a couple of things including:

1) Jive Records and Spears’ management team are reportedly planning to
release her fifth album in November (06), and a world tour is tentatively
scheduled for 2007,

2) Spears was also due to perform at numerous award shows this year (06),
but has since cancelled the commitments without explanation, and maybe she
was going to offer an explanation,

3) Spears was going to announce she is pregnant with a 2nd child,

4) K-Fed is now on a leash and has a babysitter so it’s safe to allow your
daughters to go to the clubs now,

5) After a lot of begging her not to divorce him, Spears has decided instead
to marry K-Fed again, and possibly give us a date for the big event.

The fact that Spears has not announced anything could be a good sign. 
Perhaps she is consulting with her managers, which would be smart, to make
sure she doesn’t do or say anything that will permanently damage her career
or reputation.  Britney Spears has become a big star over the years,
and I doubt she is willing to throw it all away now.  Hopefully she
will grow and mature from this experience and become even better.
