Blake Fielder-Civil Father in a Terrible Accident

The father of Blake Fielder-Civil, Lance Fielder (67), was in a terrible bicycle accident that left him with several spinal cord injuries after he flew over the handlebars. He was laying in a ditch for three hours. His wife Jane led a search party when Lance didn’t return home. A neighbor sitting high up on a tractor was able to see Lance in the ditch, otherwise he might still be in it. Lance is currently in Queen’s Medical Center.

Jane said:

“Lance is in a bad way. There’s a chance he may be permanently paralyzed.”

Once news of his father reached Blake, who is in jail until June, he is said to be "devastated." Blake’s father has stood by his son in support from day one.

Amy Winehouse has not heard yet, since she’s busy getting high, and having fun with her new man Pete Doherty.
