Blair Berk Confirms Lindsay Lohan Fell Off the Wagon
After video of Lindsay Lohan drinking alcohol hit the internet, while she was at a party during the 12th Annual Capri Hollywood Film Festival in Italy, December 31, 2007, Lindsay’s attorney Blair Berk has released the following statement:
"After being handed a champagne bottle while on a dance floor in Italy on New Year’s Eve and drinking from it, the good news is that Lindsay immediately stopped, called her sponsor, and got herself back on track. There is no magic cure here. Unfortunately, Lindsay has to share her ’one day at a time’ with the entire world. Rehab gives you the tools to deal with slipping up. This is not about her spiraling into a 4-day binge."
Um, yes it is. If Lohan can’t stop herself then who will? Lohan needs a 24 hour a day buddy to watch her. Bring back the ankle bracelet.

I’ve got to say, I’m impressed she noticed a problem and called the right person.
From the pics i saw she really didnt look like she enjoyed the drink. She just took a sip.
At least she stopped and call a sponsor.

Hence the need for sponsors. She called hers. Like he said, this is no 4-day binge—–she had a drink on New Years Eve—–for a recovering alcoholic, that’s a big deal, but she dealt with it. Hopefully she’ll stay on the wagon—–what she should have done was lock herself in her closet on New Years Eve and avoid the temptation entirely. This is a battle she’ll face daily for the rest of her life. There’s no such thing as a completely recovered alcoholic.
