Billy Bob Thornton Comments on Oscar Awards
Billy Bob Thornton, who won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for Sling Blade, in which he starred, directed, and wrote, said this about the Academy Awards, aka the Oscars:
"I keep up with the Oscars about as much as I do the Miss America pageant. I think it’s just a dog and pony show. It’s horsesh!t."
He is probably only saying that because his best years in Hollywood are behind him.
