Beyonce Gets Warm Welcome in Ethiopia

Beyonce played to a small crowd of 5,000 people in Ethiopia. The crowd like Beyonce because her songs have melody, and are not filled with negative messages.
Ludacris, who opened for Beyonce on Saturday, got a lukewarm reception. Local music promoter Michael Melake said:
"Rap music doesn’t suit Ethiopia. Ethiopians need a melody. Rap music is all about the message and we don’t identify with that. It’s all about the black American experience, and we don’t relate to that."
In September hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas got a respectful reception, but the crowd did not like them because of the messages in their music.
Black music used to be all about melody, so what happened?

She looks great and she is a great singer. I think she writes most of her songs herself.
