Barack Obama Makes Fun of the Special Olympics
President Barack Obama appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and as per his usual, he made an insensitive remark about retarded people, comparing his bowling skills to the Special Olympics. This morning Obama apologized, which he seems to do a lot, I guess since he makes a lot of mistakes.
Obama made history as the first sitting President to ever appear in person on a late night TV show. I guess the crisis the country faces isn’t as bad as Obama said it was, or he’d be back at the white house working hard, rather than working on his celebrity status.
Couldn’t the self publicity wait until Obama is out of office?

How dare he! I don’t recall any other president making a comment as horible as this one. If this is how he thinks then what the hell is he doing in office?! That’s like me saying “I’m so poor I make black people look good”. Not only is that a horrible thing to say, but it’s just plain wrong.
I just don’t see how people can say he did great, he is nothing but a sorry excuse for a President. He makes these sort of remarks all the time, insulting innocent people. He needs a lesson on how to act as a President because he has no idea what to do or say for that matter. Funny thing is he can’t even bowl as good as people in the special olympics.
i love obama, he’s more human than any other piece of crap thats been in that office. people need to loosen up and get a friggin sense of humor, maybe if they did this country wouldn’t be in the crappy state its in.
Right, well that wonderfully untypical loser president insulted millions of parents and families of special needs children. Forget Special Olympics – which are great for special needs children AND adults. Making fun or jokes is NOT FUNNY at all when it comes to disabled children or things close to those with disabilities.
He may have gotten some kind of message across but it was definitely the wrong message. He was insulting and callous. He doesn’t need to leave home without that teleprompter.
He also needs to quit sending videos to Iran. They took that video he did for them as WEAK and SURRENDERING. Not good. Basically, he’s had a bad week. Needs to read up on foreign policy (particularly Islamic culture), and quit trying to be funny.
