Barack Obama Attacks Sarah Palin

Posted on August 29, 2008 at 10:37 am (PST)

Unlike John McCain’s congratulations video he put out when Barack Obama made his acceptance speech as the first black presidential nominee for the democratic party, Obama did not congratulate McCain’s vice president pic, Sarah Palin, for being the first republican woman to get picked as a vice presidential running mate. Obama released the following statement:

"Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency. Governor Palin shares John McCain’s commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush’s failed economic policies, that’s not the change we need, it’s just more of the same."

Obama is showing his elitist arrogance again. Obama is bashing small town America, and worse he’s bashing, rather than congratulating, a woman who has a chance on becoming the first woman Vice President of the United States of America. Obama is for Obama, not for America, and especially not for women in America. This isn’t the first time Obama has disrespected women.

At least Palin has two things that Obama doesn’t have, and those are good judgment as well as executive experience as a state Governor. Palin has a near 90% voter approval rating by voters in Alaska. Palin also has a strong record for fighting government corruption, while Obama appears to embrace it.

Obama has associations with criminals like his political fund-raiser Antoin Rezko (Tony) who was sentenced to federal prison, racists and America haters like reverend Jeremiah Wright, and terrorists like William Ayers (Bill). The video above reveals a lot of truth about Obama that he doesn’t want you to know about.

Obama was not putting down small town America. he’s simply providing the question… is this the person we want as president? If Johan Mccain dies, which is very likely, then the little beauty queen would be the president of the free world! John Mccain is putting all of America at risk by pulling this shady political stunt! Hey i was student body president of my junior high i think i should be the VP nominee!

I’m not drinking the Obama KoolAid but I can’t get behind McCain/Palin…it just feels desperate and calculated. I do want a President that I feel is smarter than I am and neither McCain / Palin fit the bill…..oh and the shot at Obama for not calling to congratulate….McCain acknowledged his acceptance..not his VP choice…in fact ads slamming Biden aired within minutes of the announcement so get the facts right…..that is what I hate about politics these days….it’s not about the truth it’s about making weak minded people believe what you want them to believe

Governor Palin doesn’t just talk the talk, she walks the walk. McCain played a trump card there. Obama doesn’t seem to like women much and his comments lead me to believe that he thinks women are less intelligent then himself. His quick attack on Ms Palin shows his fear of this woman.

If Being a GOVERNOR is so superior to being a senator, doesn’t that make McCain less qualified to be President than Palin also? Boy, the GOP has really boxed themselves into a corner trying to defend this unqualified woman. I wonder if she could even pick out Iraq on a map? Al Queda must be very excited over the prospect of this lady running the country.

ACTUALLY, Palin has been in politics since 1992. She has boosted Alaska’s economy TREMENDOUSLY, and she has a 85+ percent approval rating.
She was a FANTASTIC pick for VP!

Has everyone forgotten about Obama’s RACIST, hate-teaching preacher??? He spent 20+ years listening to his sermons. Do you not think he took some of that to heart??? And what about the racist comments Joe Biden made against East Indians???

Adding the word “CHANGE” after your name is nothing but hype. If anyone really thinks Obama is going to come in and immediately turn this country around, you’re sorely mistaken.

It’s funny when you think about it … McCain’s VP pick has more experience than Obama … and he’s running for President!

Please folks, research before you discredit someone.

Sounds to me like Obama is running scared from McCain’s pick. She is going to be VICE president so she can have less experience. McCain has plenty. Obama is going to be PRESIDENT and has NO EXPERIENCE. Why is he so concerned about a vp picks experience when she has more experience than he does. Get over it people he is not the second coming of Christ he is a POLITICIAN. Most of you are just voting for him because you think it makes you look hip voting for a black man.

You fools… I live in Chicago and Obama has learned from the most corrupt politicians in the US. I won’t disagree for a second that Obama is a very polished, articulate, intelligent speaker. He is great in that area. But the man lives and breathes criminal politician. Tony Rezko helped him buy his 5 million dollar house and property. He is in no way innocent in all these incidents of shady relationships. Come on people, we all agree he is intelligent and sharp do you really think he didn’t know what was going on around him?

Why shouldn’t Obama comment on McCain’s choice? It is a stupid choice. McCain’s camp keeps pointing to Obama’s experience, but then it pulls in some country bumpkin from Alaska, of all places.

As soon as I saw that she had five children, I knew there was a problem. There may be women out there who have decided against Obama, but there still are women who will not vote for McCain because he is not for abortion, and neither is his silly running mate.

McCain will probably kick it within the next couple of years, and then we will have a bigger idiot than Bush in the office. There is no way anyone in their right mind would want to have her in office making decisions . . . Oh wait, never mind. We had that idiot Reagan in office sleeping through meetings, so it probably won’t matter. The ritzy Repubs will be making all the decisions, anyway, as they did in the two terms Reagan spent in office, and as they have been doing with Bush.

I feel sorry for your small minded view of the world and of the man that Obama really is. For one I look forward to the day that he becomes President and we finally have some intelligence and integrity back in the office representing our country to the world. By the way, you mention McCain congratulated Obama!?!?! Come on, he had bash ads out the second he was clearly the nominee and the momemt he chose Joe Biden, who is above reproach. It is people like you that have caused the rest of the world to look upon Americans as elitist and small minded.

Hey Ken, WOW, GOVENOR of Alaska. She’s the Govenor of a state that has a population of only 670,000. It’s pretty easy to have a high approval rating in a state with a population that rivals Memphis, Tennessee.

    Let’s go over her resume…

Two term Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, pop. 8500. The only thing they ever had to worry about was the Iditarod dog mushing race.

    Am I missing anything?
