Of course it’s an attack, you want to make it seem to people who are ill informed that he’s on the same page as say, Sadam Hussein. It’s stupid, nobody calls people by their middle name. If his middle name was Jefferson or something, you wouldn’t be calling him Jefferson.

Uh, I am a McCain supporter. I just think we should be attacking Obama’s policies, not his name. The same fools who love to point out that his middle name is “Hussein” and that he’s “proud of it” if he doesn’t change it, are the same fools who if he DID change it, would accuse him of trying to hide something.

Attack him for being a spend-happy tax raising universal health care touting liberal, and not for having a SKEEEERY last name.

I seriously doubt it’ll affect “Joe the Plumber” at all or that much. Obama’s policies and plans are just better than McCain’s continuance of failed policies and vague statements to the public. I’m tired of McCain not being able to give a straight answer to my concerns, especially in the last three debates. Put all your biases aside and actually read and critically analyze their campaign materials, plans, and policies. Obama knows what he is doing.

NecroVMX, I don’t understand, isn’t that his name? If he doesn’t like it, isn’t it a simple process – for someone with his wealth – to change it. So, I would guess he is proud of his Muslim name. That is what it is.

Floyd, Since you probably won’t read this, I am going to say it anyway. Why do a hit and run? If you believe all you say, why not stay around and defend your views with facts? Many people that visit this site have different views, at least they have my respect for standing by and debating them instead of tucking tail and running.

If you are going to espouse on a subject- you need to do your research and know your facts. Both candidates exaggerate and fudge facts when speaking about one another- but McCain is by far and away worse about it. And tell me- how the hell are we going to get out of the mess we are in with out personal sacrifice? Conservatives want to go on and on about socalism and high taxes, but when the country is a hole financially you want the govt to fix it with out haing to give up anything yourselves, all the while you keep cashing those republican tax rebate checks. Does that still seem like a good idea? And no, I did not cash any of the govt sponsered rebates I have gotten over the past 8 years. I thought it was wrong, practically a bribe.

I stumbled on this site by accident and will NEVER visit it again, so you do not have to bother slamming me.

Obama is not a communist, not an arab, not a terrorist, and not a muslim. He is also not too old to run for president, not afflicted with PTSD, not in ailing health, and not pandering for votes with a sorely vetted VP choice. IF mcCain were elected- there is a very good chance he would be unable to fulfill his term because of health issues, death, or senility- and then Sarah Palin would be our president. She is an under-educated (6 colleges in 5 years, a BA in journalism and never filed a story with ANY college paper) egomaniac who has the gaul to step forth in her first speech and say how “americans don’t know Obama (who over the past 20 moths has released 2 books and given over 300 speeches)”- who knew her? Apparently not even McCain, or her wouldn’t have chosen her. It was a transparent attempt to look middle-american (what does that even mean, really)- but what american do you know who has 11 houses and even more cars?

Please be better informed before you choose a candidate.

After reading your ability to recite the democrat talking points verbatim, I’m going to decline taking any advice from you on choosing a candidate. In fact, unlike yourself, I can think for myself, and as long as Obama isn’t elected, the freedom to choose is still up to all Americans.

It is truly amazing that Obama has written two books in the two years he’s been running for President, but he hasn’t even done anything yet, except to run for President. The audacity.

Poor! Joe the plumber (really!) if he makes more money in the U.S. and achieves his goal of having his own Plumber business his taxes would go up a lot . He’d be in the 5% category of people who have to pay more taxes to the government because of his income.
Obama thinks this is fair to Joe .Obama has an economic plan to “Spread the wealth around” to people who didn’t earn Joe’s money.
He’ll give Joe’s Tax money to people that the government feels needs the money!
I don’t feel this is the American way!

This isn’t really like Robin Hood at all. Robin Hood took from the wealthy to give to the “Poor” who were being taxed too much!!

This is not like the U.S.A. that I grew up in and where it you worked hard you could possibly achieve sucess and take home more money.

Joe won’t have that chance though, he’ll just make more money and have the government take it away through charging high taxes??
