Angelina Jolie Sells Mascara to Models – Video

Angelina Jolie recently did a Shiseido’s Integrate Mascara commercial. Commercials like these are what women complain about. Most women don’t look like Angelina, and they don’t want to be expected to either, but they feel pressured to buy this mascara to try to live up to the image. Wouldn’t make-up companies sell more mascara if they put it on an everyday house wife?

Here’s the scene, housewife hasn’t cleaned the house, hasn’t cooked, spent all day shopping, and spent way too much money, wrecked the car, kids are crying, and husband just pulls into the driveway. House wife puts on mascara. Husband walks in, and she is standing there waiting. He sees those eyes, those beautiful mascara eyes. He drops his bag, he doesn’t hear the kids, he drops his bag again only this time in slow motion, he scoops her into his arms, takes her to the car, and takes her out to dinner. That’s how you sell mascara.
