Angelina Jolie Depressed Over Failure of Film
Us Magazine is reporting that Angelina Jolie has been very down about A Mighty Heart flopping at the theaters.
Bad box office numbers can be a real bummer. According to a source close to Angelina Jolie, 32, the actress is “devastated†by the audience rejection of her movie A Mighty Heart (it has earned just $9 million).
“She poured her heart into the story and can’t believe people don’t understand how important it is,†the insider tells Us Weekly in this week’s issue.
Helping to lighten her mood: a vacation in France with Brad Pitt, 43, and their four kids.
The whole clan is staying at a $13,818-a-week rental manor in Marthon, which boasts a swimming pool and private theater.
(Family friend Mariane Pearl, whom Jolie played in the film, was seen joining them.)
Says an insider, “Brad and Angelina wanted to get away from everything, and France is a great place to do that.â€
Awwww, poor Angelina, the sex-goddess who can lure any man on the planet into her bed. Her movie did badly at the box office. She has to make herself feel better by flying to France on a private jet with her husband, Brad Pitt–you know, the best looking man in the world. When I get depressed, I down a pint of Ben & Jerry’s and chase it with a fifth of Jack.

Important movie?
I really don’t think a movie about a slain journalist’s wife is that important. If the movie would have been about THE SLAIN JOURNALIST, then yes, I would have gone. Angelina is an autodidact (she reads a lot of books and thinks she can understand them) hence her bad choice of subject (with respect to marketability.) She should get a life and stop insulting us about not understanding the message of the movie. We understand all right, we just don’t care about your particular movie.
come on people, stop blamming Angie. it takes two to tango.When a marriage breaks up because of a fling, we as a society need to stop blaming the woman involve.IT TAKES TWO.(WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE)
I don’t know how much it costs to see a movie in the US but to see a movie in Sydney its AU$15.50… so there’s a start why people won’t go see A Mighty Heart, I’m saving my money for The Simpsons Movie!!

KARMA-! What goes round, comes round. Only 9 mil huh?…that should be giving her a STRONG message from the money paying public. We’re tired to death of her B.S. She’s pushed herself, and her paramour in our faces and put a spin on the truth of her hoing actions when she and that mess named Pitt hooked up. Out of those three, Angie/Brad/Jennifer, only the first two hoed themselves for publicity using their selfish, immoral acts to get free publicity for their joint venture BOMB (A Mighty Heart)..Angie..we liked you better without the ole geezer Pitt, when you were just a psycho, bad-azz who made great action movies. Can’t stand this phony Mother Thresa act you put on now.
Okay, everyone who cares about her being down raise your hand. I agree with Trena, yes, Jennifer out ranks her by miles (no not a good actress, deceit and slim ball maybe, actress no). When I see pictures of her I get a “dirty all over” feeling, have you ever noticed how she always looks high, look at her eye? I truly feel sorry for the kids.
