Andy Dick Offers Advice to Lindsay Lohan

Andy Dick talked to Joy Behar earlier this week about Lindsay Lohan going to jail. Joy asked Andy what advice he would give Lindsay.

Dick talked about going to rehab 10 times, and the time he was in rehab with Robert Downey, Jr. who said to him there:

"Whatever you do, don’t let them tell you what to do."

Robert is now clean and sober, working, and a bigger star than ever before.

Dick also said Chris Farley took him to his first alcoholics anonymous meeting, and gave him his first AA book in which Chris wrote:

"I hope this helps you the way it helped me."

Farley died at the age of 33 from a combination of cocaine and morphine, which was complicated by advanced atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Farley went to rehab, and sought help in other ways a total of 17 times before his death.

Dick’s point was that jail and rehab may not help Lindsay at all. Only Lindsay can stop herself from killing herself with drugs and alcohol.

Andy is still having issues with being sober. He was recently caught on camera sleeping on a beach, when Giglianne Braga stumbled on him while shooting a reality show called If I Can Dream. Andy hit on the girl while slurring his words, and even urinated in the bushes before stumbling off on his way. Click here to watch that video.
