Amy Winehouse Transferred to Hospital
Amy Winehouse has been vomiting continuously from heroin, and crack, withdrawals. Amy has become so dehydrated she had to be taken to the hospital last night to get IV fluids. She is probably getting lactated ringers IV fluids, because it contains electrolytes which are lost in vomit. Amy’s father Mitch confirmed the report, and says Amy is doing fine now, but had to be moved to a hospital because rehab does not have the staff or facilities to handle the type of medical care Amy needs right now.
Heroin withdrawals can be deadly, so let’s hope Amy is getting very skilled healthcare.
