Amy Winehouse Panics Parents Who Call Ambulance

Even though Amy Winehouse almost died from a drug overdose, and was arrested last month in Norway for marijuana possession, she insists he doesn’t do drugs. Amy tells Blender Magazine:

"I don’t have the time (for drugs)…I’m a really big drinker. I used to be there before the pub opened, banging on the door."

Used to? Amy is getting is crazier now that Blake Fielder-Civil is in jail. Last night Amy’s parents called 999 to call an ambulance to their home. Several hours later Amy showed up. A source said:

“Amy’s family are petrified she’ll do something stupid. They know she’s very low at the moment and misses Blake terribly. They were trying to reach her on the phone yesterday evening and they were also trying the flat in Hackney where she’s been staying but they couldn’t get in touch with her. They immediately feared the worst and called an ambulance and police to go and check on her. But thankfully Amy showed up and was fine.”

It’s understandable that Amy is extremely upset about Blake being locked up. Who wouldn’t be? Amy’s biggest problem is the fact that she didn’t address her drug and alcohol addiction before she lost her crutch, Blake. Now she doesn’t know how to cope with the stress of every day life. First she turned to drugs and alcohol, then she turned to Blake, now she has to quit Blake who may be in jail a long time, so next she needs to quit the drugs and alcohol. First, however, she needs to admit she has a problem. Baby steps, if she doesn’t kill herself first.
