Amy Winehouse Mom Speaks

Janis Winehouse has been silent for a long time while her daughter Amy Winehouse crashed and burned with the help of hard drugs. Now Janis is speaking out while Amy suffers horrible withdrawals in rehab. Janis said Amy "could be dead in a year." Janis went on to say:

"I’ve already come to terms with her dead. I’ve steeled myself to ask her what ground she wants to be buried in, which cemetery. Because the drugs will get her if she stays on this road.She’s invited me to the Grammy awards next month, but part of me thinks she won’t be alive by then. I look at Heath Ledger and Britney. She’s on their path. It’s like watching a car crash – this person throwing all these gifts away."

That’s a harsh reality, and also a negative perspective. Having a positive attitude invites a positive outcome more often than not. No wonder we only see Amy’s dad helping her, while Amy’s mother pretends Amy is already dead.
