This isn’t the case with Amy. According to People Amy was diagnosed with a skin infection called Imetigo, which is highly contagious. Most often infants get this infection in third world countries where they are malnourished, and have a weak immune system.

Poor thing. It must be horrible to have to go out with a swollen face like that let alone a swollen face AND a bunch of photographers.
