Amy Winehouse Checks Into Rehab FINALLY

Amy Winehouse has voluntarily checked herself into a rehab center, according to her UK record label.

The AP is reporting that Amy’s record label released the following statement: "Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors," UniversalGroup said in a statement. "She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction, and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards."

A rep at Amy’s record label in the U.S. said they were not aware of the star entering rehab.

My theory is, as long as the cops are threatening charges and jail time, Amy will go to rehab out of fear of being locked up, and locked away from drugs altogether. Amy’s father Mitch had been staying with her since pictures and video of Amy smoking crack, and snorting other drugs became public, and police announced they are investigating.
