Amy Winehouse failed to show up to a police station as scheduled, to discuss her latest assault on another woman. Frustrated police say they will reschedule the meeting, but will arrest Winehouse if she fails to show up a second time.

Mitch Winehouse said his daughter missed the meeting due to a "chest infection," which probably means a lung infection, or cold due to her emphysema. However, Amy’s friend, Blake Wood, drove Amy to a rehab facility, while a cackling Amy rolled around in the back of the vehicle.

If Mitch really cared about Amy, he’d stop enabling and making excuses for his daughter, and ask the court for a conservatorship, like Jamie Spears, and really help his daughter.

Once Amy is done hiding in rehab she’ll face another round of questioning by police. Hopefully this time they’ll prosecute her like they did her husband, and put her in jail where she has a chance to really detox before she dies. There’s a good chance that Amy will see the inside of a coffin, before she sees the inside of a jail cell.
