Akon Molests 14 Year Old Girl On Stage - Video
Akon, a self confessed Muslim who practices polygamy and has 3 wives (read article), shocked an audience and a 14-year-old girl in Trinidad, when Akon brought the girl onstage and dry humped her while also pushing her around the stage. Richard Gere’s forced kiss in India is G rated compared to Akon’s obscenity.
Akon told the audience that he was holding a "contest" with the winner getting a trip to Africa. He said that although they had held the contest in London, and Atlanta, that Trinidad’s contest would be his favorite. Akon managed to get seven girls onstage, and to compete they had to dance like whores. The winner had to compete with Akon, and one got molested by him.
Don Imus defended his own sexist comments by saying that black rappers and hip hop artists demean women, and make sexist comments much worse than his "nappy headed ho" comment. Now Akon goes and proves Imus was right, and like R. Kelly, Akon was humping on an underage teenage girl.
Adding insult to the injury, Akon announced the contest was a fake.
It doesn’t matter if Akon knew this girl’s age or not. The fact is he acted badly, and even if the women consented to being treated like sex objects, they should be as ashamed as Akon. In the United States the girl doesn’t have to give consent, she only has to be under 18 years-old for Akon to go to jail.
Some may wonder why the Imus issue is thrown into this article. The fact is, in America many black leaders have been promoting racial double standards, and attacks on whites who use language common in many black communities. Little attention is being given to people like Akon who are considered a role model to by many young blacks. Not all blacks agree with the leaders of their community, or with how AKon or this girl acted, and this article is not directed at them.
Side note: Akon is no stranger to trouble, he served a three-year jail sentence for grand theft auto.
Should rappers and hip hop artists make their music, and behavior less shocking and more appropriate?
Gwen Stefani said recently she would be taking Akon on tour with her. After seeing this video, should Gwen reconsider? Akon is currently under contract by Universal Music, and Verizon Wireless wants Akon to be their featured artist.

Um, he didn’t do anything sexual to her at all. I’ve seen backyard wrestling that’s much more physical than that, and thankfully our society isn’t so nutty as to send someone to jail for it.
The only thing I can see there that might have been illegal is assault, if the girl didn’t consent to the act in the first place. I doubt that’s the case as she looks as if she’s having a good time there, and she didn’t try to get away in the video.

Although most of the comments here are negative, and I can’t disagree that Akon is over the top here, I think it’s important to remember a few things.
The culture in Trinidad, where this took place is totally different to the USA. There’s a real macho culture, with much more openly sexual music, and dancing, particularly in nightclubs. This video displays acts that are not uncommon to see in clubs, particularly when hiphop/R&B artists are playing. Another important point is that the girls that take part in things like this are always more than willing.
Think this took place in Zen nightclub, and definitely wouldn’t have caused outrage for anyone there. Seen quite a few artists, including Beenieman in Trinidad, when I was there for a few months last year and this video isn’t completely out of the ordinary.
I’m not trying to excuse Akon. Just saying that it’s not as bad as it looks.

Even if the legal age is 14 there, acts that are illegal in the US are punishable IN the US if the person is a US citizen.
As far as the Muslim part goes…
Muhammad is said to have married a 12/13/14 year old. (depending on which translation you are looking at) It is common practice in “Mulsim” countries to do things with ‘underage’ girls that we consider abuse/molesting. It was brought up in this case to give background on his actions.

A response to “Lady” : The culture may be different, but thats not to say the culture is completely without morals. Apparently there was a problem. The girl was screaming nad quite honestly it didnt sound like she thought it pleasant. Second, “Dry Humping” was not a term made up for this single instance. First thing, the way all people with the platform to communicate to masses and the achieved status to be looked up to by youth and other tempt able follower mentalities should hold themselves personally accountable for the vocal and visual messages they spew, and their sponsors and employers be held accountable for their actions. I guess it is only an issue because this made the news. On a weekly basis we(the caribbean islanders) have shows where there is alot of this behavior. I always say that if a young lady puts her self in a situation where she goes up on stage competing for anything that is not official and gets embarrassed and disrespected, it is no ones fault but her own. I am also a Trinidadian and I don’t know how this child was raised but I can assure you that at age 14, I would not have been in no concert like that worst yet on a Thursday night. The dress code would have also been a no-no and neither of my parents were pastors or even better, church goers.I would not have been allowed to leave my mother’s house dressed like that or better yet I would not have been allowed to buy those kind of clothes in the fist place. It really concerns me that not only is she 14, and her father is a preacher, her both parents actually let her leave their house looking like that!!!!!!!! Allowing her to go to a club which requires you to be 18/over… What type of parents are they???? I was most disgusted by that performance by Deena and Akon… seeing it on video is totally different to seeing the real thing… I was at the concert and believe me she had a choice to walk off the stage after that first indecent act that Akon perfomed on her to his song “Smack That”. He held her up on him smacking her butt to that song and then threw her over his shoulder and continued smacking her… She could have walked off the stage after that happened but instead her choice was to stay there..After that she made Akon lie on the stage floor and she went over him and started to girate herself forward and backward on his crotch… which then lead to the even more indecent acts (to which was captured and shown in the video clip) he perfomed on her, draging her over the stage floor…. Deena’s father is defending his daughter but what he doesn’t know is what happened before the video clip he’s seen!!!!! Shame on you Deena and Akon!!!!!

I see that a lot of people are appearing to think because this girl is dressed the way that she is, it somehow lessens the effect. The fact that these women are degraded by our black men is a problem. It is sad knowing that we treat our own people the way that we do and say that, “Well, look how she is dressed, she don’t look like she is trying to hard to get away”, etc. I think the problem is with our society as a whole. It is not only rappers that are demeaning these women, but people in general, and we are allowing it to happen. Men degrading fruit bearing women, and women taking what God has blessed us with and using it as a marketing tool, when it is supposed to be private, for one’s companion. When we degrade and mistreat our own people and put it up for the world to see, we are telling everyone else that it is okay for them to treat us the same way. Then you have the nerve to pull the race card. Don’t blame Don Imus for his shortcomings when we have make it okay to say these things and do these things. Now, as a Trini myself, and a proud one at that, I am completely appalled by some of the comments left on this matter. When will Trinidadians stand up for something better other than lude behavior and being the “best to party” Where in Machel performances have you people seen him drag a crowd member around as though she was a piece of cloth? This was animalistic and disgusting to see. Grant it that this young girl party hops or drinks or smokes…that’s her call…but it wasn’t Akon’s call to be that graphic and lude ..regardless of the fact he didn’t know her age. It is kinda weird how she got into Zen cuz its at least 18 and over. The girl lied to her parents saying that she was going for ice cream with her cousins. Her “friends” picked her up at her house and she had on a jacket at the time. (One thing that made it very shameful was that the girl’s father was a pastor, and she was 15 not 14, it said so in trinidadian newspapers). Then again you have to forgive the ignorance of children these days, however that was revolting and Akon needs to know limits. Such behavior should not be allowed and let me just say for u non-trini’s, our culture is rather different and stuff. First of all Club Zen is 18 and over so she should not have gotten in. Second of all the ‘friends’ that got her in didn’t seem to care about what she was getting involved in. I’m from Trinidad and i can tell you that what happened on that stage is not something that happens usually….funny enough i saw a clip on vh1’s celebrity eye candy with Tara Reid at an akon concert and she went on stage, and he grabbed her and started dry humping her the same way that he did that girl so obviously Akon himself has some serious issues. The Lord says who doesn’t hear will feel, it’s only unfortunate that she had to be so widely exposed but everything happens for a reason and i bet she wouldn’t be going out to clubs until she’s 18…She learned the hard way…

Akon is an entertainer. The people paid to be entertained and this is what he did. As far as the girl being 14 y/o in an 18 y/o club, that falls on the security not AKON. Yes she is a minor but he, more then likely, was under the impression that EVERYONE in the club was of LEGAL age being it was an 18 y/o or older club. This girl has a body piercing and a tattoo on her back. Which I’m not from Trinidad, but I think you have to be of LEGAL age in order to get those things. In this situation I can say she put herself in that situation. You are a MINOR in an adult club. ADULT things happens in ADULT club. That’s why they place an age limit on them. And like I said earlier, AKON is an entertainer. He was entertaining a crowd that he thought were ADULTS ONLY.

I’m not saying that Akon was right for dancing the way that he was dancing. However, any sane person can listen to his music (”Smack Dat”, “I Wanna F#$@ You”, etc.) and have an idea of how his shows might be. Yes this girl is supposedly only 14 years old, but it is IMPOSSIBLE for him to have known her age just by looking. Where were this girl’s parent, and more importantly, why was she dressed so provocatively? I understand that her father is a minister, but there is no need for him and the rest of their family or his congregation to be upset or embarrassed at all. From the looks of the photos, Akon First of all chose her because of her attire. Secondly, she does look good. Media has it’s way of exploiting ppl….Doesn’t matter it’s age, sex or race….that’s just media to begin with. We can’t just blame Akon for everything; the girl should have known better. She’s wasn’t the appropriate age, and her actions spoke clearly that she was just having fun, and doing something that she wasn’t a novice at. The situation is only blown out of proportion because her father is a preacher, she’s a minor and the actions were done by an artist. If that was considered molestation then, many men (not only in trini but all over the world) should be arrested. The reality check over this situation, there are so many girls that have no respect for themselves that behave that way when they go out in clubs, even at carnival time. Here in the United States they have been using kids for years to sell all kind of things. I am a young trinidadian lady and to see Dana behave in such a manner is so very disguishing, she shouldn’t blame anyone for her actons but herself! She got up on stage by herself and if she felt taken advantage of she could of told him to stop or jumped off but she stayed. To me it looked like she liked it. A 14 year old girl is a woman in many cultures. Also, erotism in teens/children is acceptable in most of Latin America so I see nothing wrong with what the guy did. They’re just dancing!!! Why do some people see everything as dirty and wrong??? I was there. She certainly didn’t look 14, and it was a show billed for over 18.
He didn’t con anyone - I certainly didn’t think that it was a plane ticket that was the prize - more likely a “ride on Africa” meaning himself! When these hiphop artists and big stars come, the girls really throw themselves at them. When NeYo was there - they were fighting to get invited up to the “VIP Party”
So anyway, this wining competition went on for 35 minutes. She had many opportunities to leave the stage - she came back onto the stage 2x after the first round with him. She was grinding on him when he was lying on the ground. She was pulling his pants down.
So from what i saw there, she was a most willing participant and nobody had any idea she was underage. (except her friends who came with her and got her into the club)

I personally think that this is stretched too thin. First of all, if Akon wasn’t famous, there wouldn’t have even been anything on the news or internet about it. Reason being everyone wants to watch the famous step by step, sunglasses on, sunglasses off. Of course there would be news on those subjects as well if you could make an interesting paragraph about it. I guess what I am trying to say is that it’s media, entertainment. If he offends you with what he did here, then in a way he is doing his job by keeping the media busy writing articles about him so in turn, the media can do their job and keep us interested. Quite frankly, I think the whole sham is getting old.

I don’t feel that Akon is at fault at all and whomever thinks that her parents are not at fault are just as ignorant as she was. First of all how can you not know where your child is going, second of all how long does it actually take to get ice cream? (come on people let’s get real) I have two children of my own and you can rest assured that neither one of them would ever try a stunt like that because the consequences will be so severe that it would not even be worth it. I make it known that there are just certain things that are not okay. Lieing to me is the first and going to a club or a concert when you know you have no business there is not an option. I think as a parent you need to establish that you are not against all the things that your children are interested in or enjoy doing. I would take my child to a concert that is age appropriate(Chris Brown). Just being available and letting your children know that they can talk to you about anything is the first place to start. It’s obvious that there was some issues in that house because she felt she had to lie to her parents about going out. I don’t feel that the headline “Akon molested 14 year old girl” is appropriate. He did not molest her and she knew very well what she was doing on that stage with him (why was she in the riding position on top of him) looks like a pro to me. I think that Akon is a perfomer and that’s just what he did gave his audience a show… one that they will probably never forget after all the media attention. Instead of wasting time on issues like this why don’t we focus on bringing the troops back home and getting Bush out of office because he has done nothing but mess things up his whole term. Akon I am all for you and the family of the 14 or 15 year old (however old she is) teach your kids some values. She is growing up too fast for her age and the way she was dancing she showed that it wasn,t her first time in the act. she should have stayed home and get prepared for church the next day and all of this confusion would have been avoided.

I think our society needs to go back to the way that things were when I was growing up, an entire community helped raise our children. Children were treated like children, they were competely answerable to their parents every hour of every day. Parents instilled morals and values in their kids other than partying and hanging out acting like adults. Children are our future and personally I wouldn’t want half our children controlling anything in our country right now, they lack self-control, focus and adequate parental guidance. I don’t really see the big deal…First question is..what is a 14 year old girl doing on stage, how does she get into an Akon concert(by using Fake ID) and why is she dressed like a stripper? (Kinda reminds me about the Dave Chappelle joke…if you dress like a stripper, you get treated like a stripper…despite whatever age you are).

This is very sad indeed!! This girl is only 14 and yet she is subjecting herself to that kind of situation! How did she manage to get in that club when the age limit is 18 & over? Judging from her actions & the pictures of herself she posted on the internet, I think she is toubled & the family should seek professional counselling for her. Akon himself is also a dirty predator. It seems that Dana’s parents are unable to control her actions. She has definitely shamed herself and the family and those pictures & the video of her and Akon at Club Zen prove that! I hope she has learned her lesson now and I hope other youths has learned for that and don’t go down that same destructive path!

That girl is only 14, she has no right dressing like that. Don’t cast blame on Akon, he was performing and all those things goes along with it, it is up to the females whether they want to take part or not. It was not a case of him forcing her to come on stage and dance with him, that was a willing act on her part. He also cannot be held accountable for her age, let that be the responsibility of the people that should be checking ID.

When I first opened the page and saw this girl (or should I say “woman” cause that seems to me what she is trying to be) all upon Akon like that the first thing that came to my mind was,”I thought they say the girl was 14.” Then when I read ahead and saw that the girl that is on Akon is INDEED 14,I was like,”Oh my goodness!!They let her outta the house like tha??” In the second picture I don’t think that they should refer to her as the “victim” because it is quite apparent to me that she was not a victim of any sorts.She definitely didn’t look like she was undergoing any kind of suffering.In fact,she looks like she’s rather enjoying herself. I think the owner of the club should be punished. No club owner should allow a minor to enter a club. However, what sort of animalistic behaviour is Akon portraying? He is a superstar and young girls and teenagers especially get carried away by fads, peer pressure and superstars. People should remember when they were young and not judge the girl. Being a pastor’s daughter is all the more reason to run away and go to a nightclub and get tattoos and navel rings. Sometimes that kind of restricted lifestyle can get to someone whose personality wants to have more freedom of expression. People should forgive the girl and punish Akon and the nightclub. In my mind, Akon could never be anything to me. I have gotten to despise him after the incident at the club.

I am a 14 year old girl, same age as her and living in the Caribbean too and if ANYONE was to EVER do that to me…….hum, I would knock the senses out of them (what do you think you have two hands and feet for….decoration - i don’t think so). It’s not like if the girl was handicapped, she can defend herself and she should have a good judgement of what’s right and wrong.
Do you see the way that child is dressed. If i was to even enter the house with a piece of garment like that it would be burned to more than ashes. She said she left the house in a jacket, my mother would tell me take that off let her see what’s underneath. And pierced body part?, tatoo?(no matter if it fake). Anyone could see that she planned to be a big ooman (woman) and get on bad. If she want to act big then she gone suffer as a big ooman. She better take she ting and cool she little herbs.
And going out for ice-cream - you gone go out for ice-cream for HOURS. HA HA - i can’t even go out the door without supervision and uhm, has cell phones gone out of fashion suddenly (call the child and see where she is). And children like to take advantage of parents too and say they gone pull wool over parents eyes (her parents need some blows for themselves for allowing that).
And now to the PLACE of all places. What a 14 yr old girl doing anywhere NEAR a club muchless inside. Now everybpdy know that that is just not allowed unless she’s not exposed to the public or something and genuinely didn’t know (RIGHT!!!). And then to go up on a stage and do these derogatory dances in PUBLIC and with a big hard back man. And to allow herself to be dragged across the stage like a mop. I guess they needed to clean the stage and didn’t want to interrupt the show just for that so they did a lil’ cover up mopping.
And all that crying stuff after and how she ashamed of herself and all that, HUM, OFCOURSE SHE SHOULD BE ASHAMED, i didn’t expect any less. I would NEVER embarrass myself and my parents, family and friends in that way. My parents would whoop my behind for something like that, the next thing you would be hearing was that my funeral was coming up soon.
And being influenced by friends - THAT is what she calling her friends, people who pressure her into doing something she doesn’t want to do. So she doesn’t have a mind of her own too and a mouth to say NO. And please, pulled up on stage, COME DOWN AND TELL THEM DON’T TOUCH YOU UNLESS THEY WANT TO BE SUED FOR “MOLESTATION”- THAT would of been molestation.
And she went home good good and didn’t tell her parents that she was molested though - EH HEH. But JUST because it come out in the public, she crying molestation. MAN, DROP THAT LIL THING IN THE DUSTBIN NAH - she allow herself to be treated like garbage, so why not.
I could go ON and ON about this girl but to move on to Akon. Only one thing to say though, HE TOO NASTYYYYYYY for a big man. That is thing to do at the zoo with some animals. I mean, i know scientists say that we have developed from apes and chimpanzees, but I would say that we now have apes and chimpanzees in human bodies. But I DO NOT think that he is to blame because only people of legal age should of been in that club and even if you under-aged, you would keep yourself quiet, just happy to get in undetected. So, all of you all out there stop calling the man a molester and all that (but you can call him an animal though).
Sorry for this being so long, but children have views too and I think they should be heard becuase most people think that adults are prejudiced and wouldn’t understand how teenagers thinking, but this just goes to show (even we are more disgusted)

She has degraded us as young females growing up in the world today where woman are just thought of as things and toys WITH the help of Akon mind you (so not all blame goes to her). But MOST of it does, because she had a choice. How ur children act in public reflects how the were raised and the morals that were taught. Being a native of Trinidad living in the US now, i am still in shock! I have frequented Club Zen on many occasions and had my ID checked…what happened here? i am embarassed for my country and more so for my people. I have attened numerous Carnival celebrations and NO we do not do these sort of these… All the dancing or “winin” is UPRIGHT, not laying on the floor being dragged around. It was very animalistic and just plain RUDE! If I had been in attendance, i would not have enjoyed such a show.
HIS action were over the top but so was HER clothing. The prime minister can investigate all he wants, but all we need to know is on the video. If she knows any better, she knows Trinis will never let her forget what she did.

The biggest shame in this whole incident is calling the girl a victim. AKON has been doing this act in every city he performs, she new why she got on stage. Hey this is crazy!! This goes on everyday its just that this particular time it got recorded and displayed on the web. There is a lot to be said because this man is an artist a performer and thats what he gets paid to do. He can’t check ID before he performs or touches everybody in the spot! But at the same time, the people who were at the doors should have questioned this young ladys age to start with. Thats what their job is! Thats not Akons job, his job is to perform. At the same time, I would like to see him show females a little more respect than they are being shown today in the industry! If this was america, would akon be able to behave the way he did, weather the woman is 14 or 41, at a concert and get away with it? While it is true the girl had no right to be there, that kind of behavior is just not acceptable. The girl may be at fault and her parents as well, but Akon is also to blame. He should have respect for women no matter what their age. It is time the world stop excusing men for their bad behavior saying its the womans fault..look how she is dressed…or she wanted it. If I allow society to influence how I raise my 14 year old, she would be doing the same. Sometimes we are in a total state of denial. As parents we need to wake up and accept that our children might be doing things we are not aware of. If this girl knew she was 14 the she knew fully well she was not suppose to be there. All the actions of this young lady says she knew all the actions and performed very well for the part. So is it really Akon or the girl to blame. Those who are defending needs to maybe get out of the forest so they can see the trees a bit clearer.

I agree that the movements of Akon are rather degrading and it really does look horrible but to put no blame on that young lady is ridiculous. She knew exactly what she was doing. She lied to her parents to go to a concert she had no right being at, and judging by the clothes she wore that night, she knew exactly what she was getting into…..She did NOT have to get up on stage, she could’ve ignored her friends and left. That just shows that she is weak-minded and has no will of her own. And what is a 14 year old girl doing with a tattoo anyway? It seems to me that she was willing to grow up to soon too fast but it got out of control and instead of taking responsibility for her foolish behavior, she decides to put it on Akon and her friends. I have no respect for that so called Pastor because he is trying to lay blame on everyone else but himself and his daughter. Maybe not, but I don’t think she was forced based on what I see in the video, she could have left the stage anytime, for that matter, she could have avoided it. If you had checked youtube before the videos were removed you would have seen her compete against 4 other dancers to get to the position of dancing with Akon. I totally agree that Akon did nothin wrong, because first of all, he might have taught the girl was over 18 seen that it was 18 and over club. she wants to lie to her parent and pretend she is some big girl then she should face the consequences. I think the pastor also knows what his daughter gets up to, he is only trying to pretend just to look good. iI mean look at the way she dresses and the friends she hangs around with. They say show me ur friends and i would tell u who you are and looking at the pics with her friends, they don’t look presentable. u can tell she was loving every min of it. she is not sorry about what happened, she is only sorry she got caught.

Well in akon’s defense, those girls were probably brought on stage by someone who did not know their age. Akon loves to give great energetic shows and im sure he would not have done what he did if he knew she was 14. ALot of girls these days mask their age by the way they dress and act. If anyone is to blame for this it is the girls parents. Who should not have let her come out to the concert dressed like a hooker. She is 14 years old and shouldnt be wearing clothing like that unless she wanted that kind of attention.

Akon wasnt as wrong as they say he was. The young girl’s parents were.
1. Where were her parents?
2. Why would you send your 14 year old daughter to a rap concert where the artist’s hits were “Smack That” and “I Wanna F*ck You”.
3. When i was 14 I wouldnt dare walk out the house dressed like that (My mom would kill me!!!!)
4. What 14 year has tattoos and piercings everywhere? If they didnt tell her age, from appearance and behavior she looks all of 21.
So, personally the media should go after the parents and not Akon. He is an Entertainer and thats exactly what he did…… Entertained!

A) Akon’s behavior onstage or?
B) The girl’s age?
I wouldn’t go to an Akon concert period, but i really doubt he knew this girl was 14. Her “explicit” pictures tell on her. She isn’t innocent and shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Again i wouldn’t cheer at a woman being treated like this but you can’t automatically shake your fist at rap… besides Akon’s not a rapper anyway, he’s an r&b singer that was on American Idol (call them).

Where was he wrong for letting her on stage and dancing with some one whom he did not know was 14, or the fact that he acted they way he did on stage? My question is where were the parents and if she obliged the performanced by riding him on stage and gyrating with him why isnt she being ostrasized or chastized honestly. A daughter of a pastor dressing suductive at 14 “14″. It easy so say for a female she felt wrong when it was a issue onstage when she was laughing and smiling at the notion. He was in the wrong for letting it get that serious I guess but dont point the finger when she only defended herself because she was being ridiculed for her behavior, a womans easy escape to pull I didnt know what was happening card to look innocent and save face. Why is everyone so upset at AKON for his “performance”!! thats what it is, a performance. He has done that same thing numerous times on stage and no one has said anything. Do you honestly think that he knew that this girl was only 14? please, no one is trying to be r. kelly again!! Everyone should chill out and instead of directing your negative remarks towards him, you may need to direct them towards her parents because there is no way in heck that my parents would have allowed me to attend a concert by myself at 14. And on top of that, dress like that and leave their house. I don’t really care too much for his music, but wrong is wrong and i am tired of these young tramps getting into trouble and people defend them when its their parents fault for not looking after them! get over it!!

Ummmm….before making comments on an incident happening out of the U.S. you must take into the account the culture of the country. This sort of dancing/contest is common in the caribbean. No one looks more into it than what it is. It is a dance expression much like tap, ballet or break dancing. Akon is not wrong and was probably asked and paid to participate. The girl was also probably hired to entertain the crowd. It can seem kind of stripper like but it is just entertainment.

Let’s face it - ‘entertainers’ of Akon’s ilk are for the most part, lost causes. They promote and thrive off an aspect of American pop culture that glorifies the degradation and stereotyping of women as ‘hoes’ and sluts. They are aided of course by the actual whores and sluts that participate in their videos, etc..They all need Jesus!! But clearly not the Jesus that Pastor and his daughter serve - but then again he (Jesus) is there for the fallen!! People, this ‘child’ can be seen doing the ‘dutty wine’ in another video aired on the Caribbean channel Synergy TV. She is the lone dancer in this video which was recorded last year!! (Didn’t ya kno ’bout that, pastor?) It annoys me that she and her family should want to appear all innocent to the public in the wake of this incident. Come on now, yawl are just sorry ‘n sad cus’ it’s all on tape… for the whole world too see. Hypocrisy exposed! Seems to me that pastor’s got a whole lot of house cleaning to do. Yoy can’t tell me that a pastor’s daughter can at 14, have a tattoo on her lower back, dress in a manner that screams ‘come hither’, even if she did not dress at home,as is purpoted, did she borrow the clothes? She lied about her age to get into an adult nightclub, has previosly been featured in a video promoting a raunchy, ’secular dance’ yet her father is of a sect that are wont to moralise and pass judgement on the unsaved (the silence of one of the pastor’s cohorts the most vocal and condemnating Pastor Cuffy in this matter is deafening). The real moral of the story is - ‘”those who live in glass houses…..”. Akon didn’t misrepresent himself, Pastor and little missy did!!

Im sorry its her fault. They are only blaming Akon cuz her family(pastor and wife and fellow church members) needs another justification for this girl not being holy. Trinidad is a small island in the Caribbean whose culture sees things like this almost everyday. She left her house late at night (where her parents though she was going??) she said she had on a jacket (look at the shoes and hair style no one goes to sleep over looking like that or for ice cream as she says her excuse was…
SHE entered the dance competion SHE went on the stage…SHE had the chance to leave the stage - she was grinding on top of hiim. Akon was not holding her. This video may seem lewd to American but things like this happen alomost every party/day in Trinidad its their culture. Previus girls grinded on Akon before her it was a dance competion. As i said this religious family dont want the litle lsland (every one know every one its a small island) to think their daughter is a whore and she is a wild thing which in fact the island knows already but never caught on tape!

eh well I never liked Akon anyway, there’s something kind of icky about him. He reminds me of guys who used to harass me in school, always being oversexual when it was unnecessary and uncalled for. One in particular who favors him a whole lot, used to chase me around and would just stare at me with his mouth open. Then, he cornered me and tried to feel me up… Watching this brought back memories, and I was never asking for that kind of attention (I wore t-shirts and jeans every day)….

I am from the Caribbean(Barbados)and i find it an unfair judgement to say that its our “culture” for caribbean people to get on so.Yes we have dances but NOTHING LIKE THIS. I believe that both akon and the girl are at fault in this.I have seen phots at an AMERICAN concert where akon was doing the same thing to young WHITE and BLACK girls as well so dont go blaming the islands.I believe that she,her father,akon and the people that sllowed her into the club are all at fault

This girl first of does not look 14. Shes got a tatoo on her lower back, peircings all over her. The girl has on a shirt that consists of 3 inches of fabric her nails are done.And the problem here WHERE ARE HER PARENTS!!!!The parents say they didnt know its a parents JOB TO KNOW! You dont let a 14 year old girl walk around in clothes like this. And you can look at the pictures of this girl she acting like she is grown. Some one tell me why she got on stage and was dancing like that? she had to learn it somewhere… WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?? It looks to me like that 14 year old little girl needs her ass whooped. first to begin I am a citizen from Trinidad and from the manner the young lady dressed you could not have known that she’s 14yrs of age honestly at first second or third glance we would assume she’s 18 and over. How could Akon know that the girl were 14yrs. what he could be blamed withis the manner he were dancing( or assume to be dancing) even though it looked like he were buffing or waxing the club floor with the girl.
at one point in time I came to a conclusion that akon probbaly drank some african sexual potion cause he were moving like he was in heat.
club owners need to be very strict and carefully with there entry policy!

I remember when Bobby Brown was arrested in the early 90’s for doing something similar for the song Tenderoni. They called it indecent behavior. Everyone except the target audience was upset. He never stopped doing it and neither should Akon. Even if you don’t like his talent he is still an ARTIST that, for some reason, has an audience.

There are so many hip hop artist that degrade women and use the majority of them as sex objects, we have to first remember that some of these young girls that go to these concerts are (YOUNG GIRLS)and they are just in love with this artist. I feel this way first of all RESPECT WOMEN why in the world would you call a woman on stage just to bump and grind them? Then we wonder why we have an Aids epidemic this is just ridiculous I feel every man who does something as demeaning as this should be charged if the young lady turns out to be just that a young teenager. Whatever happen to just good concerts like in the late 80’s and even in the 90’s and most part of 2000. I cannot believe that some of these woman on this board think that it is ok, it is not ok regardless of this young girl getting on this stage she is just that a “YOUNG GIRL” if it was any man in the street that did something like this they would be charged with molestation. Should Akon get charged with this YES!!! I am quite sure he wouldn’t want anyone humping and grinding his mother, sister or any of his relatives that are women or young girls so why do they feel the need to do it to other women or young girls!!!!!

yea! yea! yea! Everybody is blaming Deena. What for? Yes we r aware that she should not have been there at no cost but the way some people r chatting -up is as though they liked Akon’s performance. Akon’s performance went over the boundary… it was very repulsive and ridiculous. Even if it was a 20yr old or 25yr old girl that level of onstage behaviour was too obscene. Don’t get me wrong, i am not blaming Akon because of the girl’s age and she can be blamed for many things but not Akon’s behaviour. He is an adult and he has to take responsibility for his own actions. Well, looking at the footage it looks like she wanted Akon to do more than what he was performing. As a 14 year old myself I thought about it and really and truly Akon is not to blame for this, she was rubbing her junk on him at entertaining his actions she did not look like she was resisting his efforts. She also changed her skirt into trousers what does that show you? The bouncers/security are to blame also, cause it seems like they did not ask for no ID, Akon is a successful star/ celebrity and this stupid whore should not come and ruin his career. The girl does not seem like a virgin, so she must not be listening to her dads preaching (fornication) her father is upset because he will surely loose members from his congregation. The pictures show that she was enjoying this movements she certainly wasn’t acting like a 14year old that night. i agree with DB, are we angry with Akon because the girl was a minor? i live in Trinidad and the whole issue has divided opinions. First of all the dance is immoral, no matter what age. Secondly, codes of conduct should be put in place for these artistes or else this incident will reoccur. Akon was fully aware of what he was doing, and with songs like “smack that” and “i wanna F*** you” did she expect a lullaby? He actually said that in order to go to Africa, they had to dance like whores, therefore, he treated her as such. all these were indicators to her of what to expect. the blame should not be squarely put on Akon’s shoulders, beacuse Ms. Alleyne should have realised that he was not gonna treat her like a queen. as for Mr. Akon, his behaviour is immoral,and hopefully women in the next town he is visiting would realise that they are all whores in his eyes.

She shouldn’t have been there so all these accusations being thrown around about AKON are just a waste of time. Her father knows exactly what kind of person she is, preacher or no preacher. The only reason ppl are paying close attention to this matter is because he’s a preacher. If it was the ordinary man on the street undergoing a similar situation, it would never have created such public attention. Stuff like this happens everyday so I don’t know why ppl are acting so surprised and appalled. The fact is, the girl is a slut and from the looks of it, she’s enjoying her moment of fame. I for one don’t understand why the blame is being put on him cause that little girl just by looking at the pics above looks no where near 14 yrs of age. Firstly I’ll agree that this behaviour is common in alot of parties and West Indian artist sometimes encourage this with female members of the audience…however, that does not make Akon’s actions acceptable. Secondly this is not the first time Akon has done that to a female audience memeber. I saw on VH1 where he took actress Tara Reid and slammed her up and down when she came up to dance with him so….once its a mistake twice its a habit of his, the only difference is Tara Reid is not a minor. However you cant really blame him its an adult night club he shouldnt have to ask for name and date of birth.
Thirdly I agree that the Pastor should take responsibility for his daughters actions however parents cannot watch their children 24/7 and sometimes as I would remember you sneak and do stuff without your parents knowledge…however when they find out they punish you accordingly.
Fourthly the owners of Zen nightclub should bare the brunt of the blame cause their admission policy seems to be non-existant and should be changed so that minors do not end up in a club and further more no under age drinking!!!!!

I do not see anything out of place in this video except for the age of the young lady. What is displayed in the video is common place at reggae concerts. What should be questioned is where are this child’s parents. She is out at a concert in an adult setting, dressed in an adult manner, conducting herself in an adult manner without adult supervision. She is a beautiful girl who looks older than her years. This man did not have prior knowledge of her age. He cannot be held fully responsible for his actions. She is a contributor.

I am tired of the role model issue being thrust upon entertainers just because they are in the public forum. A child’s role model should be their parents. End of discussion. I will not defend the things which are displayed in the works of rappers and others. It is a free country, last time I checked, and everyone is allow to do as they wish. I also do not support the double standards either. What mainstream entertainers of African Decent have done is di-sensitized people not decendant from Africa to things which where privy to us and which was being displayed among ourselves only, by exposing it to the world in the form of their artistry. I keep seeing these comments about Caribbean culture and how Akon’s display represents our culture…firstly what is culture? Does our culture represent vulgarity, obscenity and lewd behaviour?? I think not.
Contrary to popular belief not all West- Indians behave in this manner nor support these type of displays. The mere fact that people are now aware what goes on in clubs since this article has been publicised goes to show…a lot of persons are unaware of what is reality. This type of behaviour and worse goes on in clubs all around the world, underage girls and boys manage to get into them very easily.
I do not appreciate how black people, West-Indian people are being portrayed in the media…as hypocrites. Not all of us condone that behaviour, language and common indecency. It is the few who are in that spotlight that portray black people in that light and i am ashamed. I dont appreciate it either when people repeat the derogatory language used by some black people and then when they are criticised they cry out that black people are hypocrites…

I have very contraveral views on this. A number one why was a 14 year old girl of a preacher dressed like that in a club for 18 year olds. And When did preachers let their 14 year old get belly peircings and tattoos. I know being from the states that in the USA you have to have parental permission until your 18 years old to get a tattoo or a peircing.
After saying that lets forget for a moment of the irrsonsiblities of daughter and parents. Lets forget the age and dress of the girl. Even if we made her 50 years old women with 5 kids and a conservative appearance…. it still does not warrent his actions on stage. Every performance is taped with artisted and that is giving out the wrong message to the coming generations. Boys and girls with less than optimal guidance are going to think that it is ok to be treated or treat someone in that manner.

First of all, this girl was only 14, she shouldn`t have been at that concert in the first place and REALLY should not be dressing like that especially being that her father is a priest. Come on now. I would NEVER let my daughter out of the house like that and i would make sure i would keep a close eye on her and not let her get into that concert. Being the responsible parent that I am: The first thing I’m going to do for my daughter when she turns 14, is get her a provocative tattoo just above her butt, and a gangling belly-button piercing. After that, I’m going to allow her to dress like a pornstar and attend adult only events.

Personally, I think both of them are at fault. Akon is an idiot for acting that way on stage. He has been in jail before for sexual things and he should have learned from his “mistake.” No matter how old or young the girl is, he should not show that kind of PDA. I also think at these concerts girls should be thoroughly screened before entering. How come her parents were unaware that she was at this conrt? Get it straight. The facts are obvious. The concert was held a night club, one. Two, the age requirement was strictly 18 years and over. The club owner does not have the time to search for God knows how many under age teens dressed in that manner took kick them out. The female was out passed her bed time. Three, the female should have known better to get on stage if she was underage.Akon is an aspiring artist with a statement he has too make at every show. These actions are known to be “FUN” in the African American communities. If the media wants to view these act as molestation and violation of rights………….purchase a passa passa or a any other night life carribean video.

Okay, yes the girl is 14/15, but damn, she sure does not look like it.
And lets put the responsibility on who it needs to be put on; the club owner. First, anyone under the age of 18 was not supposed to be there and how would Akon knew how old she was. For all he could have thought, I am in a club where everyone is supposed to be legal. If that does not happen, what was he supposed to do, check her I.D., she supposed to be legal to be up in there.
Females, get all dressed up all nice and sexy. Underage girls wanting to be grown and when anyone says something, it wasn’t her fault. Well, she is a child, and it wasn’t, it was her parents fault because they should have known where there 14/15 year old daughter was and what she was doing.

It is her fault mostly but Akon does not need to totaly humiliate these women but if they are hos and like to be treated that way then treat them like the prostitues that they are. I think that it is unfortunate for akon because you have these fast young girls out here and they always get somebody caught up they need to be in a childs place the girl might as well went naked she should be ashamed of her self and these men out here need to start thinking responsibly and not let in between thier legs think for them where were her parents they let her dress like that? and you act like a hoe you get treated like one.

I just watched the video. And a co-worker sent me the pictures earlier today. Wasn’t there some kind of age limit at this party or concert? Where were her parents when she went walking out of the house with that outfit on? This is a joke. Like a previous poster said you have these fast behind little girls wanting to be grown. She got her behind up there and now she is embarrassed. PLEASE!! She is only embarrassed because her mom and dad found out where she really was that night. Akon could not have known how old the girl was. Should he have asked her for ID before he pulled one of the randoms out of the crowd? Yes that was a little rough for a child, but he assumed she was a grown woman. To compare him to a pedophile is ridiculous. But everyone has an opinion and I just thought I would share my two cents.

i know good and well that if i had a 14 year old daughter
1. i would not let her be wearing those type of clothes
2. she would NOT have a tatoo
3. her belly button will NOT be pierced
4. she would NOT be taking them nasty little pictures of herself i mean look at them in some of them she naked!!!
