Michael Phelps will appear on special edition cereal boxes this fall for both Kellogg’s Corn Flakes and Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes. They are expected to hit shelves across the U.S. in mid-September. Marta Cyhan, vice president of Kellogg’s global promotions said:

"Michael embodies the values behind our Frosted Flakes Earn Your Stripes program. He knows that winning is not just about the glory that comes with gold medals, but about good sportsmanship, working hard and being your best."

Pretty amazing for a kid that grew up with attention deficit disorder.

Jessica Simpson Selling Beer

Jessica Simpson will appear in ads as a spokeswoman for Stampede Light Plus, a beer made by Dallas’s Stampede Brewing Co., that includes vitamins. In exchanged Jessica will appear in store ads for the beer, and get a 15% stake in the company.

In a statement, Simpson said that as an entrepreneur, she is "always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people."

"Yes, I work out and take care of myself, but I also like a cold beer once in a while." Bottoms up!

Amy Winehouse Going Back to Rehab

Amy Winehouse will be moving closer to husband Blake Fielder-Civil, and may check into Focus 12 rehab as well. Russell Brand suggested she attend rehab in the area she is moving to. Brand was a patient himself at Focus 12. Mitch Winehouse said:

“This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good.”

LeRoi Moore Died

LeRoi Moore, who played saxophone for the Dave Matthews Band, died Tuesday afternoon. He was only 46 years-old.

Moore crashed his ATV on June 30, and suffered from broken ribs and a punctured lung. Recently he was admitted to Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles where he died from complications resulting from his injuries in June.

At Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Dave Matthews told the crowd:

"We all had some bad news today. Our good friend LeRoi Moore passed on and gave his ghost up today, and we will miss him forever."

Be careful riding ATVs. I’ve personally know quite a few people injured and killed riding them. Ozzy Osbourne also broke some ribs riding an ATV a few years ago on his property in 2003, and had to breath with the help of a ventilator for a while.

Amanda Beard Denies Dating Michael Phelps

Amanda Beard denied dating Michael Phelps on the Johnjay and Rich radio show yesterday. Amanda made it sound like the idea of dating Phelps made her sick. She said, "Ewwww, gross, sick …" and "Come on, I have really good taste," a lot during the interview. Amanda thinks she’s a lot hotter than Phelps and could do a lot better. Maybe she didn’t hear the news he is worth $100 million, or maybe looks are more important to her than money or personality.

After Phelps fans blasted Beard, she apologized for saying he is gross:

"Everyone who knows me knows I can be a jokester, but I guess I took it too far. I never meant to say anything rude about Michael. I am 100-percent sorry for what I said. I take full responsibility for it."

It didn’t sound like she was joking to me.
