Kate Moss is being dropped by lingerie brand Agent Provocateur and her $1 million contract won’t be renewed when it expires next month. No specific reason was given, though they’re replacing her with a fresh face to represent their brand. What took them so long? Kate has been looking haggard for so long. Without tons of make-up and photoshopping her pictures, Kate looks a lot like a werewolf. I don’t know who I feel more sorry for, Pete who has to shave Kate’s back, or Kate who has to squeegee the grease off Pete’s back.

Fergie has become the first singer to use product placement and is being paid a ridiculous $4 million by Candie’s to promote their clothing line in her songs. An executive at Interscope says:

"With record sales in decline, you must find novel ways to make money out of the music. The trick is to make the brand part of the song so that it slips down easily rather than chokes the fan. Candie’s will have no say over exactly what Fergie will sing, or when. Fergie does not sing jingles so it will have to work unobtrusively in the song."

Whoever thought of this plan will be looking for work very soon.

With regards to Nicole Richie, the question of is she or isn’t she has apparently been answered, and the answer is SHE IS! TMZ just broke the news:

The starlet has been dating Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden for over six months. Rumors have been swirling for months that Richie and Madden were expecting, but TMZ has confirmed through several sources that she is, in fact, with child. In Touch magazine is also reporting that the couple will wed this summer.

Won’t it be so darling to have Nicole and Lionel do the father/daughter dance to one of his songs? There isn’t a more fitting one than his classic "Easy."

Richie is currently facing DUI charges stemming from her arrest last December, when she was found driving the wrong way on a California highway. Richie’s trial is set for July 11. If convicted, she faces a minimum of five days in jail.

I wonder if the prison meal program accommodates those who are eating for two, although in Nicole’s case, she’s really only eating for 1.5 (She is the ".5"). If she really can’t handle it, she can string a bunch of baby booties together and escape.

Apparently, Candy Spelling’s next pompous and condescendingly scathing letter might just have to be directed at her own daughter.

Well placed sources tell TMZ that Tori was a total terror while shooting promos for the second season of her Oxygen "reality" series, "Tori & Dean: Inn Love." We’re told the new mom was more than two hours late to the set and would not interact with other actors. Post-partum aggression! Sources say Tori was annoyed by the cast because they "looked too good."

They might have trouble finding people that make Tori actually look attractive. I hear the cavemen from the Geico commercials have some time on their hands.

Lindsay Lohan turned 21 yesterday, and she’s apparently celebrating by having her things moved out of her posh Los Angeles condo, so she can settle into a quieter place when she leaves rehab. The New York Daily News says:

… a West Coast spy reports that her belongings have quietly been moved out of her apartment at the Sierra Towers in L.A.

"The Sierra Towers is party central," says an insider. "Lindsay has made the decision not to be around that when she gets out."

Current and former residents of the glamorous address include Matthew Perry, Vincent Gallo, Cher, PJ Harvey, Evander Holyfield, Joan Collins, Peter Lawford, Fred Durst, Sidney Poitier, George Hamilton and David Geffen.

It’s not like Lindsay chose not to have the big Las Vegas booze filled birthday bash, she’s got legal worries. Lindsay’s lawyer, Blair Berk, is reportedly pissed that the cops released blood test results showing Lindsay had cocaine in her system, and her blood alcohol was twice the legal limit the night she crashed her car into a Beverly Hills tree. Lindsay knows she’s got to find a quieter place where she can hide out from the cops.

Lindsay did get a new iPhone for her birthday.

Lindsay will be arraigned for DUI on August 24.
